dimensions of bulk

:o whats the difference if ur substrate colony is thick vs. spread thin? is there one? also screw jars i was thinking about making a giant pf cake in a glass tray, although i want to learn more about rye

If its your first time better start from PF tek, just for accomplishing and studying basic stuff in cultivation as grow cycles and being strille...
As for your question, the thicker the dunk the bigger your flushes overall will be.
Rye using is more advanced and used for colonizing large amounts of substrate such as trays because rye spawn is breakable and easy to mix.

go bulk, i actually think bulk is easier.. popcorn here, id rather grow 10 times more upwards. im going to switch it up to wild bird seed now, popcorn has a big surface area and it seems like the wbs colonized a lot faster.
give to colonized jar a little more time to tighten up

so i mean if u had the same amount of colonized stuff which do u think would produce more, a block a foot long and an inch deep, or a block 6 inches long and 2 inches deep? dont bust my math skill on that on just trying to talk how shape could affect result!!
