Dimlux 315, D-Papillion

Is anyone using the Dimlux 315w cmh? I like the features but can not find much about it other then ad copy. I realize it would need to have a power converter to run adding to the power overhead, which makes it less desirable. The price, roughly $500, is OK given the features it has.

D-Papillion is the other light I am currently considering as an alternative, the features are comparable. It appears to be a light that spreads for canopy development (like the Cycloptics) and I wonder about its penetration.

The most important features for me are a replaceable reflector, small size and what appears to be an effective heat reduction feature (Dimlux). CO2 is likely to be added at a future date potentially nullifying this feature. I like the dimming features but would probably not use them very often. If you are using a Dimlux, D-Papillion or other 315w with similar features please leave your impressions.

It, or a similar 315w, will be used to retire the setup now running 400 w (7 years old) in a small space 2.5' wide x 5' long x 8' high (does not include a 1.5 foot high rectangle for exhaust fan and filter). There is a single 2' reptile light used throughout the grow to augment either the MH or HPS depending on which is in use. I found it helped rooting more then either single bulb alone and it runs for 10 min an hour. This would likely be retired.

TIA,
Idra
