80 days ago I planted a seed, day 50 of flower i noticed a small yellow pistol, but it wasn't a pistol. Chop chop day 50 just like on the package. 45-50 days? may I suggest if you want the strain go with the 2.0 the newer version. Looks like it might be nice. Can't wait to try it. So if you live in Canada you could grow this strain no problem. Possible harvest date of September 20th ish. Sticky and stinky in a good way.

No strain is done after 50 days. Not even in hydro. Breeders days are just marketing. It's like saying every dark skinned person get sexually matured at 13 years old, it doesn't work like that in nature.

Practice patience and let the plant decide when it's done ripening. Don't be fooled by marketing.

I grow this strain all the time and have done at least 4 plants a year of the critical+ since around 2012.

that critical plus is the heavy yielding phenotype (I’ve seen around 6 different types in 9 years) and if you’ve cut that plant down after 50 days just because of a nana then you’ve done yourself a serious injustice my friend.

When this phenotype is ready the pistils competlely receed and the whole bud takes on a golden look.

this phenotype is best between days 65 and 75.

Not to hijack the thread, but hey Jon, have you tried their other 'critical' strains yet? I've done their critical cheese and kush so far. Decent!
I haven’t buddy to be honest. I fell in love with the critical+ back in 2012 after it being one of the first seeds I popped after getting busted that same year.

I’m also partial to their White Siberian, Moby Dick is a good one, and I’ve grown their POWER KUSH great smoke.

why dont they tell you that shit? Ive got a couple i didnt want to seed. I still have a few crits. Will pop more. Thanks
What they quote you is the earliest possible harvest time once flowering responses have begun of their fastest finishing phenotype.

what they don’t say is you can’t classify switching your lighting to 12/12 as the beginning of flowering.

the plant begins its transition phase, we call it the stretch. This is still classified as Veg growth and NOT flowering.

This was a similar pheno at day 69 and could have been pushed to 75 but I found some bud rot due to a stagnant area where little air movement was.

plenty can be found by searching my started threads where I’ve pretty much grown a Critical+ in almost every grow I’ve posted since 2012 lol.059B7692-199E-4A1E-B721-0232AA84EB29.jpeg

My kid said give it 2 more weeks should of listened, but though i knew best? Feel like an ass, but learned to cut nannas, awesome, ive always practiced culling. Its personal, i support a couple of others with my grow. Its hard with small count. My doctor ditched all his patients at legalization. Coildnt make money anymore.

maybe ill pop another and document its life. If i get good pheno ill make her special
The phenos I’ve found are all decent performers. Some are stockier, some get green/blue hue leaves. Some grow lanky with good bud to leaf ratio. Etc. But you gotta take it past 60 days of 12/12. Upwards of 70 for some of the phenos. Most I’ve ever pushed a pheno was 79 days of 12/12.

In my experience with Nanas late In Flower they don’t amount to anything anyway.

I had an eleven roses that busted nannas in that grow with the critical+ bud above.

no seeds in any of my harvest. And it was littered with them everywhere. The smoke was still beautiful. Lol.
