DISASTER, Replanting big bud

1st plant ever. 3.5 weeks into flower. A piece of lumber fell on Plant and shaved the best branch bud off along with a bunch of other fan leaves and nugs. Basically, what Im trying to find out: Would the bud itself be better smoke now or better if was able to root it and let it keep flowering/budding, like a bud growing out of the ground?

I'm no expert but I would just smoke what you have. Wouldn't hurt to try to grow it indoors. Who knows maybe you can make it grown before harvest.

It will not affect potency
Your going to need to let it go a week or 2 Longer the trauma is going to slow her down.
