dispensaries...

Now I'm not yet certified so I can't go into any dispensaries, and probably never will, but a buddy of mine is and he goes to them. He says he's paying $20 per gram for decent stuff (I smoked it), and like $30 per gram of the best stuff (its good, but I've had better). Doing simple math, that's anywhere between $520-780 per ounce. Talk about a rip off. What are the dispensaries around your area charging? I'm in prison city MI, or as the truckers know it as the Asian Massage Parlor(Jackson). The most I ever payed for an ounce was like $350 for some NY Diesel, and it was way better than the stuff he bought. I actually found one seed in that ounce. I saved it and hid it, but for the life of me I can't find it anymore. Huh. So how much per gram at dispensaries throughout the state?

Sounds the same. The patients like the idea of a dispensary, they like to look at medicine in a glass case and being charged 2x for it. How else do you explain someone LOOKING to pay 60 a eighth for medicine that they could buy near them for 45 a eighth. Not to mention that all your info is stored at their facility, and who knows what is being done with that or how secure they are. There are plenty of caregivers that grow quality stuff, and should be doing alot more business but they aren't because of places like these.

Same here, sheap. I've been trying to gauge the market so that when I get my cards (patient and grower), I can pick up some patients and give fair prices without ripping myself off, and those are the prices I've been seeing.

The dispensary I go to has grams from $7-$20. All good stuff.

the one i go to averages $15-$30 ($30 is typical for hash) 1/8ths for $50 to $60, and they let you mix and match your 1/8th, which is cool i always walk out with at least 4 strains.. i think its nice having a selection where as my BM dealer only has one or two strains at a time and charges the same amount, also its nice they have hours so i don't have to wait for a returned call or wait for my BM to get off work or some crap like that. so IMO if it cost the same then the added convenience is worth it

imo dispensaries are a rip off. most patients cant afford to be paying these outrageous prices for their medicine. lately i been getting a steady supply of blackberry kush. $360 an ounce or $45 an eighth(no deals). very nice quality, not just someone's scraps like you usually find on the streets. trimmed very nice. barely moist just dry enough to begin curing, not a lot of stem either. no loose or non dense nugs. i sell to my patients for the same price i get it at. my old grow op had limited space so i could never keep a consistent supply. my new grow up is still in the works. the stuff i grow i split with my patients for free*. they just pitch in for electricity and equipment. i dont mind doing the work, in fact i love it. everyone needs to grow their own weed and stop the greed to those who are too ill to grow their own.

i agree with u 100% dispensaries are a big ripoff, the ones up here in the U.P. are 20- 40 a gram . you can buy it on the street or from other caregivers for 200 a oz. the 2 patients i have do for me what yours do for u, and that is just how it should be

I agree that they make the prices unjustifiably high, I just don't like dispensaries because they're redundant, and they actually abuse the system we currently have.

im planning on moving back to my home state of MI maybe in a month or so I could have three greenhouses on 5 acres.I grow in colorado now and I get between 175-225 for Grape ape and Blue dream grown in a sealed co2 enviroment. If you dont OWN a dispencory you will never be able to charge such a rediculus price.the street price in colorado went from 350 an oz. in late 2009 to 175-225 in todays market. quite a change. AND IF YOU DONT KNOW sign up a dispencory and you should be able to get about three oz. a month for FREE FREE FREE if they dont offer you that grow your own or get a caregiver that gives you FREE FREE FREE oz. peace

i grow my own and have it down to $135 per ounce, my cost.

my 21 days just flew by and i went to a couple dispensaries here in flint i checked out michigan organics on dort and they ranged from $10/g-$22/g $10/g for white castle and 22g/ for purple kush and sour chem dog clones were $15 and looked nice i also checked out the green bean on atherton they ranged from $12/g-$20/g the $20/g og kush.............same stuff at the other place was only $18/g (and the tall guy at the green bean kinda seems like a dick i asked him his fav, smoke and he said he dont smoke....then i asked about the og kush and he said oh yeah i smoked some of that its really good ......)so for the flint area i suggest michigan organic they seem really cool they have some nice lookin clones

flint town here and yea I agree about the Michigan organic or the compassion club, never browsed much as the last thing I need is more weed but I am pretty sure its like 10 to 20 a gram both places.

i went there to just check it out first day having my card and all i got a gram of some purple kush for $22/g i did it just to try it once wont ever pay that much again but i would go back there for clones
