dissipate or complete flush

Hey guys, I'm stuck in a dilemma. this is my first grow and so I was unaware of height controlling my plant. not only does the plant need to be tied up to keep from tipping, 3 branches are tied up as well so it will be super difficult to lift this plant off my single bucket system, and move to a new bucket.
when it comes to flushing the final week or so, can I just let my water level get low and top it off with PH balanced water to "dissipate" what nutrients are left and consider that a flush?

fade your nutrients exactly the way the directions on the bottle describe it. towards the end of cycle all nutrients suggest reducing ppm's as the plant finishes right? read the words please share?

I'm following the instructions on the bottle for my nutrients. That wasn't exactly my question. if I can't change my water due to the plant being tied down in so many locations, will topping off with PH balanced water for the next 7-10 days, be good enough to flush out the nutes to ensure I get a nice clean smoke.

Plants dont overeat like humans do, the plant will only uptake what it needs and will fade naturally even with full strength nutrients in the rez, also once something is part of the plants celular structure you can't just wash it out with water in a 2 week period. Do a search for flushing plants and see if you find any information on it that doesnt come from a cannabis website. If you cant find anyone doing it with any other consumable product or writing a horticulture paper on it,its probably just a bs cannabis myth:peace:

Thank you so much man! every where I've read said at least 14 days for a flush. some people said not at all but I'm definitely not comfortable with that. thanks again man

I mostly agree^ but in the end weeks of flower a 800+ppm res adversely affects every aspect of my cannabis experience from then on, from proper finish times, taste/flavor/ cure time, harshness, effects.yuck , for me

I find harshness in buds to be results of too fast of a dry on most of the runs ive done, a good 10 day hang leaves on usually has done the trick for me, unflushed and ashes just as white as any i've seen, but to each there own

Edit: i also dont usually hit 800 ppm on a tds scale either, i keep in the 600s or less for the entire grow

I followed directions on the bottles and it tasted great every time I use bottled nutes, they fade to near water last days ime.
but when side by side the finished plant in the wrong res is always harsh, dried next to the others which were perfect<<point.

I find ten days drying is super sweet or me and mine too, no jars no tricks, controlled dry room.
