This is how I wired my PC fans up in my scrog box.

A power supply can be purchased at any computer store (go to a mom and pop shop) for about $10.

All you need to do is connect pins 13 (power on, green wire) and 14 (ground, black wire) with a wire or paperclip. Doing this shorts the power switch and turns on the Power Supply. You must keep these pins shorted as long as you want the PS to be on.

you can attach a computer fan to an old 6-18volt adapter , you can Etape the wires right to the plug on the adapter

yeah if you know how to splice wire properly, you can just splice the fan wires with a 9-12 v charger from something. But having the power supply would probably be less work

spliceing wires and connecting em to chargers will work but the fan isnt as fast as if you use a power supply.

i had a silver fan and hooked it up to a charger and when i put it in my pc it was way way faster

that because you computer has a fan controll. just ad one to the fan and it should go faster.
