I bought some florescent yellow poster board, a hole punch and vaseline.

I the think the flor yellow is wrong. I think I need reg yellow which has a tinge of orange almost.

Vaseline seems likes a poor option. Spray on sticky stuff is expensive???

What about clear Karo syrup?

Thanks for any help.

Also any DIY for soil bugs and eggs for those f****ng gnats?

Vas works fine....

You can get the traps themselves cheap.

Fungus gnats are more of an annoyance then a problem - as long as you don't let them get crazy.....

I still suggest Microbe-lift BMC at like 6-8 drops a gallon of water and then water to run off - about a pint of run off.

I do that every 5 days - 3 times.. Gnats gone!

Tree Tanglefoot Insect Barrier and yellow duct tape and/or poster board. Lay out some duct tape / poster board. Apply a thin coat of Tanglefoot. DIY sticky traps for pennies each. Nothing works better.
