LiL update - Candy Dream ( 4 pot )

12/12 cycle under Quad Quantum Board with COB ( flower )
Rear right plant is about a week and half ahead ( grown under Batwing Quantum )
These ladies are getting an additional DEEP RED ( 630-660nm ) from G8 .

Great penetration and canopy light spread -

If you guys followed this build from the start .... You will remember operating temps were low .... They still are.

@Stephenj37826 used plexiglass for on a prototype while back.

Thought i will give it a try on Quantum 250W , HLG-240H-1050A, 2x QB304 and Slate 2 Double

How long is each of those panels? Does anyone use the 5k to grow lettuce in a tiered system? Are they rated to be used in a damp location(like where lettuce is grown?) ?

Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a QB to use as a veg light, run it around 50w... Robin said he would have 4000k and 5000k boards available in a month, or so... which is the best option?

if you are building a cob fixture, most people seem to go for an angled aluminium frame. what other cheaper alternatives are out there to build the frame out of? could pvc pipe work?

I still can't get pictures to load but only have a week or two left of flowering
They look damn good
The Two plants directly under the 90 watt kit will be over a qp easy so I'm not mad
Room for improvement but these lights are the truth
That's about one gram per watt....not super impressive considering i am getting much higher results using a 315w CMH and i didnt have to build my light and it's rated to be in a damp location. I have still yet to see a single posted final weight results from ANY QB build which tells me all i needed to know, these are not great at growing buds.

Well I forgot to mention I have it turned down to about 50 watts from the wall my cab is only a little over 4 sq ft
So if you're talking gpw u do the math
I also seeded several branches and think buds will be bigger next time

I'll believe it when i see it, still havent seen a single impressive run from QB's just small plants that have small yields. They remind me of when i used to use crappy blurple mono panels and could only get 1gpw max.

Finally got to start my 4 board build. I'll run 2, 2 light frames. I may tie them together in the future for a vertical grow. Working on the second light now, just need one more peice of metal. I used 1/2" aluminum U channel, very light weight and strong enough for this application. My frame is 28" x 8 5/16". The heatsink edges rest inside the channel. I added extra screws as stops to hold the heatsinks from sliding.
