DIY with Quantum Boards

I plan on getting some of these when more are available, hopefully i wont miss this next batch. I was initially planning on getting the 260w 2 board kit but i had a few questions as im not sure what is going to be the best option for me. With the multitude of drivers and different wiring of series or parallel it can be quite confusing. The initial space i have is 2.5x2.5 but around june i'll have either 4x4 or more to work with and at that point will add more lighting. So basically would i be better off getting the kit now and then later more boards and another driver, or just get 2 boards now and get a driver now that would be good for that future upgrade.

Im sorry if that question seems confusing but english isnt my first language combined with a lack of electrical knowledge and im not sure it makes sense the way i said it.

Basically would i be better getting a different driver with room for future more boards. or just go with 2 drivers in future.
Any advice from more experienced electrical wizards would be appreciated.

Tested at 120

Triple supports 3 boards.may be able to handle HLG320. Will test in 2 weeks
Or 2 boards with space in center.
Nice! So assuming the 260w kit was installed on a slate 3; with the space in the center. Would that keep the flowering footprint the same? (2x4) or would the space water it down too much?

Thank you for all your hard work and guidance.
