Suggest distance above plants: 1.2-2m

m is meter right?
m is meter. i see people useing led lights at that distace. 34" is max for vegg and 24ish for flower or you are wasting your par trying to cover a larger area.

Maybe we can hook you up with something let us know.
you probably have better product than my budget but maybe you have some thing i can bloom with, aprox 400w actual for under $200 for use in a 3x3 as a 600w enhanced hps replacement. i have heat concerns and limited power available. i am also replacing a 250 w mh and 150 w of fluorescent used in a 3 x 5 for veg. i already have a cheap purple light mixed spectrum 300w cob for veg but i wanted 2 x 240 w full spectrum esp blue for veg.

Well, my HLG-240H-C2100A just arrived (free overnight shipping from Arrow? Holy shit, that's killer), so I'll proceed with the plan. I'm fairly confident that 240-250 watts from four QB120s will do better in my 2.5'x2.5' tent than the single QB288 at 150 watts that's in there right now! (Not to say that the single is doing poorly, because it isn't.)
getting better spread for the amount of diodes you are purchasing and then driving the eff outta 'em sounds pretty awesome to me

What do you mean by constants?

"I've grow vertically with LED to great effect. What vertical systems have you considered and what are your constants?"

Running 9.3.6 so I doubt it but may be a possibility. Threw back in my hps last Friday and have a huge difference in growth over that last few days. Everything is back too normal. Received my 2700 last night just waiting on the 3 prong and wire in the mail.
Fucking autocorrect; CONSTRAINTS.

As in, ceiling height, number of plants, watts used, floor space, style of grow (hydro, organic, etc), goals, budget.

What's 9.3.6?

Okay I am convinced that my QB288 dual light and QB304 lights were making larfy buds due to genetics, I cut a Super Skunk last night and was real impressed at how solid the buds are. Sorry if anyone thought I was blaming the lights, I should never change my lights, Nutes or genetics at the same time and expect to be able decipher the results.

Just ordered 4 QB 120's and an HLG-240H-C2100A to start switching over my veg room, I love these lights!!!!

Also wanted to mention to everyone that my doctor told me that my cancer has stopped spreading and they are looking at the tumors on the 26th to see if they are actually shrinking!

Best of luck, both your grow and your health!

I found my buds under LED were very solid, frosty and potent.

Getting into LEDs reminds me of building PCs. The same excitement over tinkering to come up with something that is uniquely yours, no matter how similar it is to everyone else's. The same impatience for the package(s) to arrive. The same satisfaction of completing a build. The same bottomless pit of spending. The same exasperated looks from the wife. Haha... Good times. Well, even better times, because the end result is good medicine, not games that I'll get sick of in a couple of months!
That's exactly how I feel about it, too!

Great analogy, brings back fond memories of my PC geek days lol

Thanks for this. Quotes are getting jacked up so I'll just tag him.

@kaoss_11 my preferred N-P-K nutrient ratio is about 3-1-4.

By way of comparison, your 9-3-6 boils down to a ratio of 3-1-2. I've found they like a bit more potassium than that.

larfy buds are caused by high temperatures and the light too close, and yes, some strains are more sensitive to light intensity

And that's great news, keep up your spirits up, and keep making meds!

Cannabis halted my ladies progressive MS almost completely. She is the reason I started growing.

this strain, is a grower-not'a-shower; I know I'm +day's flower and yet it keeps on giving, its holding on to just enough clear trichs while the flowers just get solid, I could use them as sling-shot ammo.

the (260)QB288's had no problem with the CXB's to me they cover a bit more area w/o hot spots.<~~~good thing

this is with no CHM, I say that because these flowers have no IR/UV/UB: this was a chuck freebie and I'm considering reveggin one cause of how they are "late to the party" but brought more booze just in time to keep it going. I'm trying to end them; nothing but carbs( nirvana/sugar-REE) mirco and hygrozyme. the phaze is prefect, my skills? or strain lol.IMG_2872.JPG

9.3.6 npk. Previous guy suggested the tight internodes was from high phos & pott. Which I believe is unlikely.

New location has 15 foot ceiling I believe may be a little higher. Plan on rocking 8-12 plants a lamp we currently do 8 with good success.

We like 2 gallon ebb & gro buckets for their versatility and ease of use. Plus we believe the system uses less water and nutes than a lot of other systems, recycling systems are where it's at for me in a commercial setting. Clay pebbles, hydro, top once in veg, plants moved to flower rooms at 2 feet

New build will be a 8 lamp room I'm thinking. We currently have 3 flower rooms not at this location which are 12k, 6k and de hps @1150. We have been getting 784 grams per lamp so naturally the push is for 896. We veg on 4*4s in 5 inch square pots. New location will be completely empty and blank canvas. Been doing a lot of demo work so I will have the vertical space and sqft to do what I need to. I'm in no rush.

Budget is small very small. We can get de gavitas, phantoms or whomever for 350 each. Hence the reason it's a hard sale to some for led when in the end the results are similar.
