I have acouple question new to qb . I have 2 288s 4000k and the slate 2 heat sink , then i bought the HLG-240H-C2100A seperate i havent got them yet but do i just put the black wire to ground red to hot then black to black ? Like it shows on hlgs website . And how far are you guys running these away from your plants? Here is my autoflowers around 25 days with my burple light . And would it be ideal to run them full blast and have them higher or dimmed down and lower thanks

Shouldn’t be a ground on the dc side. The ac side the ground will be green with yellow most likely and I think the brown is live and blue is nuetral if I remember on ac side. As far as dc side it will be labeled what color is what on the driver. Should only be a vdc+ and vdc-. To wire series to the board put the vdc+ to the v+ of one board then the vdc- to the v- of the other board then run a wire from v- of the first board to the v+ of the second.

I’ve run mine from 24” all the way to around 10” turned down to 180 watts

I knew it was over when she called the bomb squad on me......... I had an inert, deactivated handgrenade ( had a hole drilled in it and filled with concrete.. no firing mechanism at all, a legal souvenir........... ) they still took it! and that was the just beginning of some bizarre shit that could have been a movie......

You might want to keep a photo record of damages and mis behavior to substantiate the hostile behavior of late once you get the divorce going. We will all probably agree that it might get worse once she is served and kicked to the curb. Been there , done that with my first .... Got ugly isn't even a good explanation.... She STILL trolls me on line , fake FB to " friend " her , etc. ( and I cut her loose 26 years ago ). So saying females let their hormones and emotions drive their behavior is sometimes understating it.

Although we are mostly faceless posters on here , we DO wish you well on your chapter closing.

Thanks Steve! It was wierd soon as I unplugged it and plug it back in it was fine but I haven’t had any problems after that. I never moved my light except for up and down. my light has two drivers and has the fin heat sinks. Steve is there a big difference between S5 bin and the S6 bin? If I just bought 4x288 boards I could just hook them right onto my aluminum heatsink where my 304’s are,is there a different screw pattern I’m sure there is for the 288’s? Do you think it would make much of a difference? I just got a 3x3 set up I was looking for a nice light set up in there maybe 4/132 27K or 3K boards with 2x4K 120 boards. Thanks Steve

first off I love my QB's they are rocking my life with good light to do my brand of agriculture... combined with my autopots and MegaCrop nutes life is good !!!

Man I hear somma that Hell I had to walk through myself many years ago... womern troubles of the psycho kind... all i can say is hold you head up and walk the high ground.it may take years but the good Karma comes back and its worth it..Hope no kids involved.

That being said. I cant help but throw out a song to the ears of those who need a smile!

Wait, and you are still married. I'd throw her arse out on the pavement so hard she would skip into the road.

I think those LEDs will clean up with a bit of alcohol or thinners on an earbud

on a QB thought....

as we are approaching the end of winter and several people i know are using their "HAPPY" Lights, i got to wondering ...
since we are all about the happy spectrum of plants, is there any science behind the needs of humans in the darker seasons? you guys could be missing out on a secondary market here.... one of them panels in the human needs spectrum would be awesome...

what say ye?

and i had a crazy idea too maybe not worth the trouble , but i wondered about how we can adjust spectrum, and what about a light panel that would slowly adjust the color to simulate the morning sunrise Daytime, and sunset... does that have any effect on the plants? probably negligible, but just a brain fart moment...

Well the girls are on there way .... Soaking up some photons !

Bomb Seeds - Cherry Bomb auto
Green works - BX1 auto

Both were put in a veg garden mix ( peat ) misted with thrive alive red / Dr. Earth (3/3/3).
BX1 will be potted up tomorrow into another airpot. The original seed of this I planted did not germ so this another of same strain doing okay.

18/6 cycle and will able to run on this table for a bit before I throw under larger quantum rig.

Well update today. Quantum’s are fine so no worry there. But then I found entire bottle of bleach and detergent poured in my pots. Oh and meth in my 6 year olds closet.

I thought that was for acne or wrinkles or something. But yeah I thought the same thing.

Just saw that HLG has another new board up on their site. It appears that it's currently only available as part of a plug-and-play package, like the HLG-65 (QB120) and HLG-40 (QB96), but if history repeats, we could be seeing these boards as part of the DIY selection. It's a 192-diode board run at 96w and sold as the HLG-100. Don't see all the usual details, like forward voltage and recommended drivers, etc., but the site says it'll be available at the end of April, so I'm sure more info will be forthcoming. Thoughts? Desired price-point for individual boards?
