Man I regret cutting mine at 9.5 weeks, the trichs were clear/cloudy and it could have gone anther 2 weeks, if I were you I would wait! I'll post a picture of mine harvested and cured in a few mins

Look forward to the pics. Mine are at 10-1/2 weeks and you're right, they could go another week. I've chopped down half the plant so I'll have a range of harvest times between 9-1/2 and 11-1/2 weeks. How was it at 9-1/2?

Yeah... close up pics if you've got em... I switched my dwc LAW to 12/12 on 12/5/09, putting her at exactly 9.5 weeks. I'm gonna have to chop mine regardless due to some security reasons... she is kinda stinky... not blatantly, just suspiciously stinky. I'll throw up pics after I put her in the guillotine and all that jazz.

Here is a picture of what is remaining of my LA Woman. Pictures don't do it justice without the SMELL ...mmmmm so nice, can't describe it, just grow it!
oh and this stuff makes me hack up a lung. I grew different strains with the same exact feeding schedule but this smoke turned out harsh, not sure if I didnt flush it right or maybe I dried it too fast?

Looks excellent, though less pistils than my crop. Mine is still drying / curing, so I won't have a smoke report until some time in March. How is the effect? Stony / up / trippy, etc?

The first time I smoked this stuff (around 10 days of curing) I smoked way too much and I was swimming around in a dream state, really trippy. I personally didn't like that, just a touch milder is my style. So now I smoke less and you get a nice initial head high but it wears off after a little and the couch lock sets in. I cut mine at 9.9 weeks and I didn't pay attention to the trichs. My LA Woman is curing for 61 days now and I look at the trichs after 60 days curing under the scope and a see half clear / half milky and a few scattered ambers (as previously stated, no clue what they looked like when harvested though, guessing mostly clear?). I am growing another one out now and letting her go till like 11.5 weeks and see how she does. Would love to see the results of yours! I'll post some pictures of my new and improved LA grow if you're interested

Mine drinks A LOT in flower. Twice as much as all my other plants. Yours that way too? Got any pics? Love to see other people's LA Woman grows

I'll post some pics in a couple days when I get back home. I tried a little in a portable vape last night. It hadn't cured at all (straight from the drying chamber). My first impression was that is a very pleasant mellow high, though not as strong as my AK47. No appetite affect, some pain relief, no paranoia, good for basic chilling out. There was some harshness, but not more than expected with no cure. An excellent evening or Sunday afternoon strain. After 1-1/2 hours I went to bed and slept great.

How did it smell? Mine has a sweet candy like smell while growing and thick incense type smell when smoking. Wondering if they are all like that or is mine a freak? lol.

im a huge dna fan when they get their genetics right they are tops. that said la woman is boring. its good but not great i wouldnt waste space in my garden again with it.ive grown it 3 times 2 seeds each time.

fundamentaly you're right. It's not connosiur grade stuff. With the high yeild, fast growth and reasonable quality smoke it's a good commercial strain, but not an elite like AK47, white widow (the original), train wreck, sour diesel, etc. I think DNA was trying to make a more commercially viable version of LA Confidential. They suceeded with the commercial part, but didn't quite reach the quality mark. EDIT: I smoked some more last night. 1/3 of a j absolutely devastated me. My ability to comunicate was pretty much shot for about 45 mins. Definately an indica dominant strain that leaves me the very essence of toasted. The impact when I first vaped it wasn't nearly as strong. I think the vape ran out of butane before it came up to temp and the stuff hadn't dried all the way.

EDIT: During flower, it had kind of a Sweet spicy smell with an old socks component mixed in. The curing jar has a sort of flowery / peppery smell with earthy undertones. The smoke has a distinct flower / incense smell with a sour aftertaste. Very pleasant and not very skunky. I'm really liking this strain more and more as it cures. If you like a knockout high, this stuff is way above average in potency and aroma. Great for insomnia and pain. No munchies effect.

I think you're a few days ahead of me on the cure. The smell has gotten a lot sweeter in the last couple of days.
EDIT: I re-read the thread. Yup, yours has a full cure and mine is less than one week. The smell of the smoke and the jar is definately changing. I grew mine in a DWC setup with Botanicare organic nutrients and supplemental sugar late in flower and through the flush (2 week flush). It smells a bit like caramel in the jar now, but still has that flowery incense smell too. The smoke is losing it's woody uncured taste and gaining a bit of skunkyness which quickly gets lost in the incense smell.
Definately harsher than my Blue Mystic was at the same point in cure. LAC should be thoroughly flushed if you want to minimize harshness. No problems in a vape though. For those of you who have never used a vape, get one. Your lungs will thank you.
