Do you think the term "white boy" is racist?

I just read an article about a group of Popeyes employees referring to a white customer as "white boy", the context being "That white boy's already got his [order]"

Is this racist in your opinion?

Do you think it would be racist if you replaced 'white' with any other color?

"That black boy's already got his"?
"That brown boy's already got his"?
etc.

I don't think it's racist. I think if I were the white guy in Popeyes and someone referred to me as "That white boy", I wouldn't really care

Do you think it's a racist thing to say? Does determining racism depend on what race you're referring to?

Hmmm interesting
Did the white boy really get his order. How old was this white boy ? Was he trying to get an extra order ? What exactly did the white boy order.

to answer the OP though, it is racist when white people do it, but not when black people do, based on the definition of racism.

"Boy", I think, is or can be the offensive descriptor.

Que Pasa homeboy? ✌

Boy, make me a sandwich.

Now boy, pay attention.
