Surprised you aren't getting fussed at about the chickens. When i lived in town we got threatened with a class c misdemeanor because our chicken coop had to be 50 feet from the house and each property line. It wasnt. We had to move right after that because they kept coming around looking for more crap to fine us for. We were the only whites in the barrio so I'm sure they didn't bother with the neighbors having chickens and cats and dogs in the front yards.

That shit is why I could not live in a state with cradle to grave government involvement in everything, regardless of how liberal it is some areas I happen to like. A man's home is his castle.

Not at all, I live in one of the most oppressive Nazi states there is on issues such as growing without fear of prison and a lifetime felony record. On the other hand if you enter somebody's property here with intent to harm them or even steal their property and they reasonably fear for their life or for the loss or damage of their property, they can stand their ground under our state's "Castle Doctrine" and use deadly force without fear of criminal AND civil retribution. If you break into somebody's house and their dog fucks you up, too bad. I've heard of states where you can grow weed, but would be liable for the dead criminal. There would be zero thought given here about the criminal and I can and do leave doors unlocked a lot and windows wide open. Wish I could have it all and live in a true libertarian utopia but it doesn't exist.

I am in Cali....where there is some asshole pissed off
about just about anything a person could ever do.

We have a condo in a nice part of Del Mar and I recall the
local busybody telling off some people in the Jacuzzi because
they had more than the allotted number of people in it. LOL,
we are talking about retired executives here pal....I think that
they can handle a small whirlpool overflow.
