I was told to carry the card with me at all times regardless if its in the prescription bottle or not. Each order I get They also send me a paper document, kind of like a receipt but it also has the daily dose and dr name etc. When I drive I make sure I have the card, paper document (for good measure) and a few prescription bottles with me (for extra good measure). I store my bud in mason jars so if I bring 2 jars on the road I'll toss 2 prescription bottles in there with them. Unless you're high and driving or smoking while driving I doubt the cops would say anything if it's properly stored in the trunk. If you get stopped and your car smells like a skunks ass and you're eyes are glazed shut then of course you'll get harassed. I fly frequently for work within Canada and it's never been an issue. I remember reading about that wonderland kid lol, if I remember he had a bong, hash, seeds and was asked to leave before lol.

Oh I think you are more than covered.
So they give you the labeled bottle, a document that has all the information on it, and a card.
Now if you look at the current regulations from HC you will not see anything about a card.
This is the point I was trying to make.
Even though the card isn't in the regulations the LPs want you to have one, to carry it...even though it is not proof per the regulations. So why supply a card?....
So you will put it in your wallet and show all your friends....it's marketing.

Catching all this Dizzy?....

A card. :) That's somewhat humorous actually.
The fact that an LP is trying to protect their investment with the use of a card and they know it's ludicrous???
These kind of LP's should pointed out as the ones to stay away from!!!

Would you view the card as a form of advertising?

It's USELESS... so that's an easy answer!

of course its advertising. No Other reason for it and the police will tell you this as will a court of law.

I agree that the card is gimmicky however just a few days ago i had a medical emergency and the fire truck and paramedics went through my pockets. Found a cig pack with five doobies in it,
As soon as my gf got to the hospital the paramedic handed her my cigs and the card and told her to put them away.
Im not sure if the card stopped them from calling the cops but im sure its the only reason i got the doobies back so im glad i have the card and didnt have to answer questions about it.

they're not cops. They would have given you back anything they found on your person and would not have called the police on you are it's not worth their time.
Glad to know you're home. eh :)

Last summer my nephew was involved in a motorcycle accident. One of the firefighters opened up his backpack to find his wallet and he found An ounce with a smoking kit. He turned it over to the police right away.
Hours later in the hospital after he was awake the cop told him what they found in his bag and told him not to worry about it. He gave him back the smoking kit but said the bud would be confiscated. Few weeks later he went to the police station to get some paper work and they issued him a summons for possession of marijuana lol. He plead guilty and received 20 hours community service and a fine.

They fucked that up too.... made it mandatory to do Community Service.

In some ways it's much better than a ( BRIBE/DIVERSION ) to a local charity for a set amount. :)

That's my card with the Tilray "Scwag" in the background that's been sent with my previous orders.

Each order you get a rolling mat. And every customer gets a grinder, and a card.

The card has your patient number on the front, and first and last name on the back. It isn't very official looking. Especially considering I don't think many security officers (or police officers for that mater) know exactly how to deal with MMJ prescriptions.
