dynagro is all i use now. 1 bottle for bloom and 1 for veg. i went from fox farm to botanicare to jack's classic to dynagrow. the jack's and the dynagro were pretty much neck and neck but the dynagro has the edge. the stuff is awesome and it has everything the plant needs in a single formula, and at lower ppms can be used every watering. none of this endless canna-specific supplement bullshit. i do however use a silica supplement in veg and a kelp supplement throughout, but they are not technically needed. your nute guy really did you a solid by reccomending the stuff.

I use and love DynaGro as well, I especially like that it's a concentrated formula, so a bottle lasts longer...It's affordable, it contains micronutrients...I'm a believer.

I only use the pro tekt silicon supplement. I would never grow without it....no way...never.

The shit.

Cant speak for grow and bloom nutes though. But I could only assume they are just as good.

I have a bottle of ProTekt lying around, but I know it plays havoc with my pH....I've only used it a couple times, tell me, what true benefits are you seeing from it?

I'm with you on this one. I use DynaGrow bloom and it works very well.
First feeding my plants opened way up and spread out big time like I never seen before. Amazing
to say the least!

i use the botanicare silica since i had it left over. never tried protekt but i assume it's very similar. i use the stuff in veg and it really strengthens the stems and it makes a big difference in heat tolerance. come flower time the stronger stems are noticable. i have a limited ability to control my temps and ever since i started using silica i see a lot less heat stress in the summer months. it also happens to be insanely alkaline so it doubles as a ph up in the solution. i don't use it in flower because of rumors that it prolongs ripening and alters the structure of the bud, but i have never tried it in bloom so i can't really say. i swear by the stuff though.

I have 3 journals in my signature where I'm either using it or comparing another brand to it. I'm with the rest of the folks here and cannot say enough great things about it. On top of being easy to use and an incredible performer, it's affordable and highly concentrated. A little goes a long way.

As someone else stated, Protekt's pH is very high just like fertilizers have a very low pH. When mixed together (add protekt first), they always even out to that optimal range of 5.8-6.5 depending on your water source. I think total Head is spot-on with his observations. I also notice a greater resistance to spider mites. They'll always attack plants that aren't getting protekt before they work their way to the ones that do get it. I don't use it too much in the dirt but I wont grow without it in hydro.
