optisolis 5k + pc red.jpgnewoptisolis (2).jpgnewoptisolis (1).jpgnewoptisolis (3).jpg

I've put together some fixtures. the first to try in a 2x2. 5k optisolis + 5050 pc red. the output looks great although it is hotter than i've become used to with the samsung strips on U bar. this is on 3mm aluminum sheet with thermal tape.
3rd photo is a single 4k strip, 5050 pc red and 2x lm301b strips. 4th photo is the only one live with 4x 5k optisolis on 3mm sheet. The plants in there have perked up lots.
thanks for the strips Mark and for reposting the auto log.
I'm not strictly settled on all this. it might be best putting the samsungs with the 4x 5k + 2x pc red for decent output even if temps get too high. good test/build round though. there's probably plenty/way too much red.

edited to add a couple of extra photos.

Nice looking build, yes the 5050 deep red is a nice spectrum but these are almost a power chip so will generate some heat, you could add additional strips and dial back the 660 a bit to get some balance

I get asked this a lot, it has a blisteringly nice spectrum but is pricey and does not have warp speed efficacy. For those that believe spectral influences outcomes. This is actually SSK-1560 boards with Cree 3k 90 + Optisolis 5k
you might find this a good reference
