Does X expire?

I've researched this and have found contradicting answers. Some people say 5 month old tabs are still viable. Others say you should take the tabs no longer than 5 days after you receive them or there potency goes down the drain.

I'm asking because I've never rolled before. If the "lost potency" thing is true, I don't think I'll have a problem with it because my tolerance will be so low right?

Help me out fellas.


EDIT: Also, could the fear of tab expiration be related to the deterioration of just the binders and the fillers and not MDMA itself?

I think it depends on how shitty the tabs are and how they are stored. I stored some in a medicine cabinet and they turned to mush... ]on the other hand, I stored some in a cool dark place and they stored well.

I recently lost a bunch of L when it disappeared from the blotter after a year..

5 days after you take them or the potency will go down the drain?? that right there doesn't even make sense to me as when you think about it, how many people can get an e pill 5 days after the pill has been pressed?? i'd say maybe 1% or so, if not less of us can have our hands on an e pill from five days of pressing.. think about it, someone is making thousands and thousands of pills at a time, but someone else has to move these pills in large quantities, then someone else moves them in smaller quantities, and so on and so forth down the line till you get them in your hands.. i'd say unless you know someone moving boats and boats of e pills, atleast 10 or more people have already had their hands on the pills you're going to ingest, so i'd say by that time they'd have to be a good month old if not older..
i also think that the potency of them would have to do with how well they were stored during their travels.. those subjected to higher heat levels as well as humidity and such, would therefore be a lower potency then pills kept in a nice cool, dry dark place..
i'm not sure how long an e pill would last before it begins to lose noticeable potency, but i'd say anything under a year old would still be quite potent..

Thanks for responding. They're in a pill bottle right now inside a cool, dark drawer. They are slightly crumbly, but that could just be because of the way it was pressed right? Not enough pressure.

you can go to a site called dance safe.com i think it is, if not just google dance safe, and i'm sure you'll find the site, and they sell mdma test kits called regeancy test kits or something similiar.. they are kinda just like the ones that the popo use to test drugs in the field with to make sure it's really a drug before they arrest you.. the kits from dance safe comes with some kind of a reactionary substance that you apply to a very small amount of an e pill and mix together and it will change color, and you check the color against the chart provided and it will tell you if what you have is indeed mdma, e, or another substance like a research chemical like 2cp or what have you.. definitely worth the couple of bucks if you want to make sure what your buying is legit..

there's also another site that i'll try and find the link for in a second here.. they list thousands and thousands of e pills by the picture on the pill, and tell what is inside of the pills and in how many mg's each substance is in in the pills... i've heard that this site is a lil outdated now though, but i'd still give it a lil look to see if you can find anything about the pills you have..
i'm super jealous though as i haven't had e in many years and have been trying to get my hands on some good pills, or more so some really good molly, which i've never done..

Yeah it jus depends. Since an X pill these days could contain anything. I wouldn't even mess with a pressed pill with so much MDMA crystals going around now days. If you haven't had the pill tested, or know for sure from pillreports etc... then there's no telling. MDMA can last a looooong time stored properly (like 10 years+)_. BUT, most X pills have other crap in them.

Thanks Darth. Both of those pill identification sites tell me that what I have do indeed contain MDMA and possibly caffeine. I'm getting mixed reviews on them though. Some people say they are pretty weak. Others say they are great. And some people say that the quality has really dropped in my area over the years.

Yeah man, I once had some for around 6 months and they were chalky as shit and fell apart. I used them and they were fine so i don't think they lose potency unless they're some new shit.

get crystals, then you can store them for decades

MDMA never lasts when stored.

You think: "Oh hell yeah I can take some E too!"

Next day: "Oww can`t concentrate... best not touch that stuff for like 2 years... umm a month sorry!"

Well, I once had some Jordan's, Omegas, Dragonflies, and Naked Ladies. We had 10 total and there was no way we could have had them all at once, lol. We only took one each between 2 of us and then there was at least a month in between times. So, based on what we had, stored in a ziploc in a bottle in a drawer, they lasted at least 6 months before they were gone. They probably could have lasted longer. Hope this helped!
