Ok, so I'm just about ready to harvest and I'm not sure the best way to dry. I live in the tropics and it's the rainy season, so humidity fluctuates between 60 and 90%, temps between 80 and 90f... I'm growing Chronic and have read Serious' warnings that the aroma is delicate.
I harvested one plant early and it is looking like a disaster. I put it on top of the tv to make up for the humidity and I guess it dried too fast... anyway now it smells like hay... but it was harvested too early, too.
I cleaned out an extra fridge and installed a fan. I have baking soda in there now to soak up the smell of the cleansers I used. It's got 50% humidity, temps around 40f. I'm thinking it may be an ideal environment for drying while preserving the scent.
I'm going to give it a try anyway, just curious if anyone's ever heard of this method.
