Drying in wood container?

Been using a cardboard box with twine for drying. Have 2, 120mm pc fans I pulse once in a while to cycle the air.

My question is. Could something like a cabinet or wooden armoire work for drying cannabis? Would the wood make the cannabis smell or taste funny?

Been wanting to make a drying cabinet. Just not sure what wood to use. Or if I should even use wood at all.

If concerned, you could always line with plastic or some sort.

Cedar will get into your cannabis.
imo a 2x2 or 3x3 grow tent with a little 4inch fan ( filter combo if you need to hide smell) is the perfect dryer. set the filter on the floor outside the tent with the fan on top of the filter. Run flex ducting up the top of the tent and slowly draw air through it. Use a fan controller and a manual timer. get the humidity down to 52 and sloooow dry them. if you dont need the filter you can mount the fan where ever.
