My uncle is one of those old school smokers been growing outdoor since the 60s well anyway he told me that if u lightly wrap the plant in a black trash bag or two cut longways, that the plant drys more even and leaves for a smother smoke wut u guys think?? I mean the obvious is mold but he told me as long as I take the bags off daily and air it out then it won't be a problem and the bags are FAR frm air tite jus lightly wrapped arond the out side, there very dense so I'm kinda worried. I'm jus gonna try it on a couple unless one of you knows this actually works caz my uncle still thinks thc flows like water that's why u shoud hang the plants upside down lol so I'm not quite sure how "true" this whole wrap the plant thing is yet

I've heard of this before from an old timer. Assuming you stay on top of it and prevent mold, I think it begins to cure as it dries.....the enzymes are still active longer and break down the chlorophyll and such. Seems like too much extra work but I'd love to smoke a side by side test against standard dry-cure.

I watched an Australian grower show this technique but haven't tried it. Seems like old biker growers tend to do this alot.

the slower it dryes the smover it will be - assuming you dont grow mold

The plastic bag just limits the airflow causeing it to dry slower

This probaly works best in a dry area with low humidity

Ya my rh is around 22% so it's prity damn dry in my apartment witch makes plants dry a ill fast usually so I'm sure ill be able to tell a difference make a 5 day dry turn to ten days or so would be much nicer witch is the biggest reason I'm gonna give it a try on account of my humidity thanks for the posts guys luv the fast answer I needed it:)
