I moved another clone into the tent, it was too large to keep in the cloner anymore and it was super intertwined with the other clone.

Everything is going well in the tent, it looks like my plants are ripening from the bottom up. I took a test branch today, mostly cloudy some amber and a little clear trichomes. Tops are mostly clear still, and only about 25% of the pistils are brown. No new growth on the top though.

I had to clear a clog in the return line yesterday, just unhooked the other buckets and let the vacuum pump suck the clog out which worked really well. The bucket that was clogged was pretty full, the roots look ok though. The clone that I transplanted has developed more lateral roots overnight, it's recovering quickly. I'm using the new clone to gauge the N content of the new formula and decide if it needs less than it has now.

I'm tired of messing with nutes, just want to find the right concentration and stick to it.

day 55 of flowering, cut another ripe lower branch off of the back right plant
day 25 of flowering for 3 grape ape clones
day 3 of flowering for one grape ape clone, this ones bucket had a leaky solenoid that caused the spray heads to drip constantly so I swapped it out with a new one today. I haven't had a chance to take the leaky one apart to see if there's something in there that shouldn't be.
day 10 since opening for the blueberry seedlings, one of them is putting out some mutated leaves on the side where the cotyledon wasn't formed correctly. I think it will fix itself after a while. Probably another month until I can clone them to get their sex.

I really need to get her under a separate light, some of the money from this run will go to that.

Curing
the temp inside of my "cure box" (cardboard box lol) was too high in the grow room (79f)
so I brought it downstairs to help the branch I cut today dry more slowly. 5/29/17
The other branch I cut is in a jar.
The plant in the back right is the one where all of these branches are coming from, it's finishing first. I'm going to wait longer before cutting from now on though.

day 56 of flowering, fully mature plants are pulling green in from the fan leaves. Won't be long now.
day 26 of flowering for 3 grape ape clones, they've bulked up noticeably since I've lowered the nutrient concentration, leaves are still n toxic, there is a ton of resin production going on.
day 4 of flowering for the newest grape ape clone, she's looking very nice. The way a plant should, leaves aren't too green and I'm not seeing any deficiencies other than a minor bit of tip burn on a few leaves but this could be from transplant shock. She really didn't have any lateral roots left after pulling her apart from her sister, but they're coming back with a purpose now.
day 11 for the blueberry seedlings, things are going nicely here as well.

I brought the box down to the basement, it's not really too awful humid down there unless there's rain. I'll bring my dehumidifier down there if I have to, or buy another one to put in the box with the bud.

Pics are of the newest grape ape in the tent and its' roots. There were no lateral roots when she went in the tent, all of those are new. To me, it just grows amazingly fast.

Day 58 for the largest plant
Day 28 for three grape ape clones
Day 6 of flowering for one grape ape
Day 1 of flowering for the newest grape ape
Day 13 for the blueberry seedlings, raised the cloner up after I removed the oldest grape ape clone. Cut four clones from the grape ape mom. Cut one clone from the darker pheno grape ape that was 27 days into flower. Going to cut more clones as soon as I can sex the blueberry seedlings and get them into the tent.

I took all my readings and wrote them down on a piece of paper and can't find it.

Chopped the largest plant, 10% amber, mostly cloudy everywhere, some clear. Some of the pistils on the tops were white still all over, bout half and half other places.

Pics below, larf and trim together, "big buds", plant carcass.

The scissor hash tastes sweet, fruity, and earthy. The drying box is super stank, in a good way.

day 29 for 3 grape ape clones (started at 3" tall) still no sign of herming (YAY!)
day 7 of flowering for one grape ape
day 2 of flowering for the newest grape ape
day 14 since poking out for the blueberry seedlings, they responded well to me raising up the cloner closer to the light
I'm going to cut another clone or two of the dark grape ape pheno, it smells really good.

Chopped down the other mature plant. White pistils everywhere, 90% cloudy trichs everywhere, few amber and few clear so it got the chop. The flowers are really pretty, some of them have that cool deep purple tint.

Going to lower the lights a bit, not a lot.

Drying box, everything is in the drying box. My drying box is super fucking ghetto but it's working great. It's just a large moving box with string to hang buds and a tiny fan in the bottom. The larf is on freezer paper in the bottom of the box, which is a pain in the ass because I have to move buds to flip the larf. The top is covered halfway with cardboard and on top of that sits the trim tub. The trim tub is covered halfway with cardboard so that there is a slot for air movement on either side. Then everything is covered by the bottom of a box that sits halfway on the drying box, and over the intake of a 6" inline fan and carbon filter. The trim gets air sucked through it constantly, but not a lot. All the inline fan does for the drying box is remove smell that comes out the top, it doesn't pull or circulate air in the drying box because there aren't any vents. The tiny fan in the box is pointing into a corner, but I can feel air moving around in the whole box. The box is located right next to my ac and dehumidifier, the room temp is 70f, and 49%rh, box temp is 73f and 49%rh.

Our entire house reeks, and I ran out of gloves halfway through because I kept getting stopped to do other shit so everything kept sticking to my hands. The wife was gone part of the morning and said she can't smell anything outside, so that's good.

I'll get ph/ec readings later. I need to go clean out the bucket that plant was in right now.

I added 5 gallons of premix to the aero res yesterday. All of my fertilizer bottles are still more than 1/2 full. Mammoth P might be a little less than 1/2 full, I didn't pick it up.

Best news of all though. I got my power bill yesterday, $162 FUCK YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're going to get a narrow tent for veg, like 2x4 or something, unless I can rearrange the grow room to get another 4x4 to fit. It's got a sloped ceiling or I wouldn't have any space problems. As it is right now though, a 2x4 will work fine for the harvest cycle we're trying to get.

and I've cut about six light pheno grape ape clones that are doing well
I think I'll just go ahead call them all two days old, I got busy and didn't write down what I was doing as I usually do. I ran out of paper in my grow notebook. I brought another one upstairs today, so no more missed days.

The hanging buds are beginning to lose their grassy smell and some lovely fruity earthy smells are coming off of the buds. The larf and trim are drying slower that I thought but still faster than the buds in the box. The stems from the first harvest are firming up, getting ready to snap. Couple more days and they can get jarred.

Man, this drying box is so ghetto looking but it's doing the business. I'm actually quite happy with its' performance, the way it's setup it's able to keep temp and humidity all under control and there is no smell. I wish I had a tent dedicated to drying, but this is just going way better than I thought.

I never post temp or humidity inside the tent. Is that something you guys are interested in? Feel free to ask me any questions.

I fucked up the day count yesterday

31 days of flowering for 3 dark pheno grape ape
9 days of flowering for one light pheno grape ape
4 days flowering for one light pheno grape ape

I'm toying around with the idea of ripping the grape ape mother out of the dwc bucket and putting her into an aero bucket in the flowering tent once her clones root.

The light pheno grape ape clones look like they're going to root any day now, dark pheno monstercrop clones are "perky" compared to what they were lol
As soon as a light pheno roots, the grape ape mom is going into the aero from dwc and the best light pheno will become the new mom.

34 days of flowering for 3 dark pheno grape ape
12 days of flowering for one light pheno grape ape
7 days of flowering for one light pheno grape ape
1 day of flowering for one light pheno grape ape (former mother)
19 days for the blueberry seedlings, one of them is almost big enough for me to take a cutting from. The other light pheno grape ape clones have callus on the stem now and some small roots are beginning to poke out

I listened to a really informative podcast last night
I switched my formula again, but just switched bloom to grow so
per 5 gallons
5ml protekt
5ml grow
5ml magpro
3ml mammoth p

Which ends up being ph 6.6, so I also add 2.5ml ph down to get it to 5.8-6.0

The new plants in the tent are doing very well.

Total dry weight for those two plants, 8oz of bud and 2oz of larf and trim. Not bad I think.

The smoke is really good, there are some seeds but not a lot. All of it is jarred up with the 62% boveda packs.

I've been supercropping them

37 days of flowering for 3 dark pheno grape ape
15 days of flowering for one grape ape, lots of visible bud sites
10 days of flowering for one grape ape
4 days of flowering for the grape ape mom, I supercropped her outward and tied her down so the bottom is growing up through the middle and the rest is growing out

I rearranged the whole flower room to fit the new tent that's coming. I hung my duct from the ceiling, bought a 6x6x8 duct wye and register for my window vent. It's 3 1/2" tall and 18" long. Short enough that you barely notice the window open still. one 6" is the flower tent exhaust and the other 6" is gonna be for the veg tent. the veg tent is going to be passive intake with all three flaps open all the time and a 24x6 carbon filter and 6" inline for exhaust. I need to black out the room window.

The plan is to dim the veg tent to about 50% and put the lights really close to the plants.

An added benefit is that both tents use the same nutes all the time so I can pull from the same reservoir.

Still using the 5ml protekt, magpro, grow, 3ml mammoth p/5 gallons nute recipe. The newer grape apes are doing well.

The blueberry plants in the cloner are too big for the cloner, they need to be in the veg tent so I can get a branch off of one.

All of the clones are poking out tiny roots except for the dark pheno monster crop clones, they all have callus tissue so should root any day now.

It took a lot of work to move the room around, I made it more modular now in case I have to move again. I received a lot of fittings in the mail today, I can get the pump and accumulator set up and clean for the veg tent.

It got pretty hot inside the tent today, going to have to turn the ac on for tomorrow.

I'll get pics in the morning.

38 days flowering for 3 dark pheno grape ape, I think I'll get a couple of zips total, not bad since I started flowering them at 3" tall
16 days of flowering for one grape ape
11 days of flowering for one grape ape
5 days of flowering for one grape ape

Got my window blacked out, and the new duct set up, ready to hook up the exhaust from the new tent.

Tying down the plants as they recover, the middle of each plant is starting to recover, more branching everywhere.

Blueberry seedlings are in full veg mode, their cotyledons are all falling off, and they're way too big for my cloner. My veg tent gets here the day after tomorrow, I've got some work left to do before it will be ready to house plants, just plumbing stuff though because I already took care of electrical.
