Dwarfed plant

Hi, I am growing auto fem afghan kush, week 7, hydroponics, LED 3x15w=45w red 630nm blue 460 nm, ph 5.7-6.3, EC kept below 1.0, but plant is only 3 1/2 inches (9cm) tall although smells gorgeous and is budding, I may have over nuted as signs of leaf burn throughout so have done two flushes throughout grow...all advice help appreciated..this is my first grow..thanks

Don't grow auto-fem seeds; I dunno why people are so damn lazy. I mean......... not that you're lazy.......... but why not just grow a normal unaltered seed? Autos are tiny and too quick to develop. And Fem seeds just weird me out. Plant two instead of one and maybe you'll have two females; I usually do (wink wink)

Hi mrCRC420, fem seeds because I live in central London...space is at a premium where we live packed into apartment blocks..no luxury of space to grow otherwise ...

Autos are pretty varied in how they grow. I had a dwarf AK47 auto which was tiny like yours and ended up as basically a single, foot-long cola, so if you got the room you might as well just let it grow out.
In my last grow however, I had a dinafem auto-cheese, which just get getting taller and taller. It was a good 2ft tall by the time it started flowering, and soon buckled under the puny weight of its miserable buds (which smelt of nothing at all, certainly not cheese). I'd take a dwarf over that genetic monstrosity any day.

Thanks MajorCoco, I am feeling encouraged by your response, I have a stealth box, about 2 foot high, and started feeding with bloombastic about 4 days ago so am hoping that the cola will have a major growth spurt in the next week or so...the roots are very healthy, lots of them and pure white...

Just my opinion, but I would have been taking it out for fresh air and sunlight during the growth stage whenever possible, then inside under the lights for a 20/4 light period. I don't think there is anything wrong with auto's, I have a Dsl. Auto about ready for harvest, but I can't imagine only growing a single plant.

Check out the pics in my Lemon OG kush thread if you want...there's a midget NLxBB auto on page 1...I'm a bit scathing of it, but then I was smoking some really potent stuff at the time, so everything is relative to that! I'm thinking actually that the AK47 was just a midget because I did 12/12 from seed....Still the NLxBB auto had some meat on her, despite actually being smaller than yours I reckon. Judge for yourself...
