Here is a picture of my current & 1st grow:

After not trimming any branches 1st time around, I'm planning my next grow to quite a bit cleaner and more effecient. Hoping to do 4 of the same size plants(or lil smaller) in the picture, but train them through a screen and try to get the most of my light.

Questions: How do you go about changing the res in each bucket when its attached to the screen. (Im using 5gal buckets with 6" netpot bucket lids. The only solution I see for this is a screen on pulleys that can be raised/lowered for lifting ALL plants up at once....and even then I would need 4 arms to hold each plant up as I raised the screen so i don't rip them out of the lid.

Last question: Is there a certain time to flower your plants when doing scrog? I'd like to veg them 30ish days or so.

Maybe build a screen attached to poles that are attached to the bucket lid so the whole part comes off together? shrug....

Thanks for input guys, when I get your feedback I'll start building it and show ya guys how it goes.

EDIT: i found a dwc scrog : https://www.rollitup.org/dwc-bubbleponics/415871-400w-mh-hps-dwc-scrog.html

But any further input would be nice ;)

I am currently putting-together a Top Drip/DWC Bucket w/SCROG for my next grow.
I had the same question about how to add water and check on roots and solution temps when the plant
is intertwined with the scrog.
What I came-up with, is I used a 10 gallon plastic tub, cut-out a hole for the mesh bucket in two-thirds of the top.
Then I cut the other one-third to be a separate and then rejoined it with duct tape to act as a "hinge".
This way, I can lift-up this portion of the top whenever I want to add or remove solution, check the roots etc.
Here's a picture of it if you need to see what it looks like. It's ghetto, but I think it will work!
