Ok this lady is in a 5 gallon dwc bucket under 400 watt hps. Noticed a cal mag defiency and gave some cal mag. Problem went away for a week and now returned. Ph from 5.8 to 6.3 in about 18 hrs. Ppm stays consistant. What could be my problem??20130924_175333.jpg20130924_175324.jpg20130924_175315.jpg20130924_175305.jpg

how did you use the cal-mag spray or in the nutes ?
and what are you running for nutes ?

ph is getting a little alkaline
it might help to bring it down some

cal-mag is slow acting unless it foliar sprayed
and the spots will never repair they will just stop showing on new growth

cal-mag should be used regularly
it may have used all that you gave it a week ago
just dont over do it it like anything else could lead to a lock out

I used cal mag in nutes. Gave 1/4 strength fox farm grow big hydro 1 1/4 tsp. 2 tsp of hygrozyme. 2 tsp of cal mag. My ppm after all that added is 570 my water is 180 after 72 hrs of aeration

should be fine the spots will grow with the leaf
if it keeps showing spots then bump it up
you may want to check out a ph lockout chart your ph may be hindering the intake

you dont need cal mag man....why does everyone think cal mag is a magic solution!!

you will only ever need to use cal mag if using ro water, if your not as youve not said, this is either a ph issue or an enviroment issue.

you should make up a nute solution, let it run for 15mins in the bubbler, then ph it to 5.8

measure ph from inside the bucket and not from the tube.

check room temps etc, bugs etc...your base nutes if using tapwater will have enough cal/mag.

you should be making a solution as above and leaving the buckets for a week, add some benifical microbes and your laughing.

hope this helps!

peace!
