DWC Growbox Question.

I have a small steath system that I just replaced my lights in. I had 3 24 watt cfls and I just switched them to 3 85 watt cfls.

The grow box is running much hotter. I have two fans in the system but it is still warm in there. It also has a little bit of a stinch to it now since I changed the lights.

My box is 14 deep 24 wide and 36 tall. I just want to make sure its safe and not a fire hazard lol

that depends on several things, whats the box made of ?
what are the temps?
what kind of fans are those exactly?

what do you plan to do about the temps?

I am picking up a digital temp meter tomorrow. It's warm not overly hot.

My enclose is made of what looks to be plywood. Uniquehydroponics.com is where I purchased it.

I am doing my best to learn so I can construct a large cabinet. Still trying to figure out what fan and carbon scrubber to get and how to get the air put of the cabinet.

you have around 6 cubic feet so Id say any size fan would work for you, fleabay sells 4in fan filter combos for around 100 us dollars. that would probably work especially if yours running cfls or linear fluros.

Well it just ran over night and everything is fine. I guess I am just being paranoid. It has two inch computer fans inside it but still I worry.
