Any tips or advice on setup build and nutrients i need. Thinking of trying it this way and have experience with coco coir and soil hydro just trying DWC for the first time. Anything is appreciated. Thanks guys and gals

Hi ya Maynard. I build my own dwc in 35liter bins with float valves in each , being supplied fresh water from a 250 liter drum . everything else is automated , temp via fans , lights obviously etc. I work away from home month on month off so dont get to look after ppm & ph as strictly as id like but still crank out some meke shit (kiwi for awesome ) & often well over a pound a plant. If you have the option to do a reticulated set up , id go for that , way easier to do ppm , nutes & ph in the one return/send reservoir than each bin individually ( hope ya doing more than one bro !!!). Also makes it easier for water changes . Shes all trial and error but my best advice with dwc is when adding nutes or ph adjuster , softly softly catch the monkey, ya can always dump the water and start again but that costs money , so less is best even if it takes a day or three to achieve your levels .

I would go with the 8 gal food container buckets (expensive) but worth it as far as nutes go with what u are used too. Just make sure u keep an eye on your ph and water temps. But Dwc is the easiest way to get started in hydro. Good luck with it.
