{DWC Journal}G13 Labs Northern Lights

Hello RIU..Ive decided to make a journal so heres the setup i got.

Light:250watt HPS, RES:18gal.bin,Nutes:Ionic hard water,
Air pump:tetra 100gal.,hanna ph meter,ppm meter,professor hydros ph up,down..my medium is hydroton pellets and 1.5in rockwool.
The strain i got is G13 Labs NL from Attitude Seeds.This is a closet grow.Im hopeing to have 8 plants four in each bin.I have 2 plants that i will take cuttings from.They are three weeks old tommorow.My seeds are not feminized so i hope at least 1 of them is female so i can clone her.right now the plants are on 18/6 and the light is about 24in above the top of the largest plant.temps are between 68 and 78.ph is 6.0 ppm is around 420..

I have a little problem though on day 14 i added about 200ppm of nutes and one of my plants took off and the other slowed down and the lower leaves are light green-yellow and has a burn spot.since then ive only topped off the res with fresh water and the green is starting to comeback a little but there still yellow.but can anyone tell me if it is nute burn or something else? heres some pics..there pretty shitty i dont have a camera so i used my webcam.ill try to take more pics when the lights turn on in a few hours.Any suggestions or comments are always welcome.

Plants look heathly the little one seems to be recovering from nute burn its picking up its growth rate.Heres some pics.

Thanks man..in a couple days to a week im gonna start takeing clones.
I got to do some more research on were to make the cutts but i have a pretty good idea.

Good shit. Yea im working on a grow right now its the beginning im about a week and a half into it. .

nothin big. i never really got into it until a bit ago. i just knew a lot of people who grew. lol.

I had 2 dro seeds and 3 headazze. but the dro didnt sprout right, so i just have the headazze. also im getting my 400 wat hps/mh grow light, so ill have a dwc system ina diff. room with super skunk soon. after i get this little first grow in for some head stash for 420

hahaha ya i cant wait till 420 i should have some good shit cured by then.The 400watter should be a nice step up from that ag cfl grow you got goin on.I have G13 Labs Super Skunk also but the two seeds i germed were no good but i still have three left,saven that for some other time though.ill be checken in on how that Skunk will turn out,when you think you gonna start it?

Hey lookin good, I got a freebie feminized G13 Labs NL seed and I think i'll be growing her out for my next grow. I'll be watching to see how yours turn out, hope it'll be a good one. I've grown Nirvana's NL before and it was pretty good, had 1 really good pheno with a great smell/taste.

lol, i know a thing or 2 about cloning =p


i took all those off of about 16 plants, thats about 40, 1 had a spore in it and started popping out shrooms so i purposely killed it off

Thanks,I hope itll be a good one too..The smell is just starting to come up,i cant wait for the whole room to start smelling like buds..

HAHAHAHA...That looks so nice..ill only take a couple i swear you wont even notice there gone...HAHAHAHA....so what you think is the plant ready for some cuttings?its on its 5th node...if you need better pics of the branches i can take some..

Topped off with PH5.5 water.The growth rate seems
to be picking up alot,i should be taking clones pretty soon.
The smell is getting stronger ...Heres some pics..

take it off those lower branches. dont do anything to high, the highest i clone is about half way, but then again i had like 16 plants to clone, thats how i got 40 out of it

Well ive been busy so i havent had time to update but im back and heres what has been goin down. At the end of day 29 i took some clones from NL#2.I took four cuttings and put them in my 1.5in rockwool and set them in the tray on top of a clone heatmat.I pre soaked my rockwool with ph5.5 water and let them them dry out over night.Before i put the cuttings in the rw i dipped them in shultz rooting powder.I did all this right before the light cycle goes for 6 hours of darkness.I just turned on the lights and to my suprise the clones looked very healthy with no wilting at all.Clone #1 however has some droopy leaves that were already like that because a huge fan leaf was resting on it.It was really such a shame to cut the branches because they were all the way past the top of the plant and they would have made nice bud sites,hopefully they will make even nicer clones.
Now with the mother plants some of the new growth has yellow tips so i thought it is suffering from not enough nitrogen or other essential nutrients so i bumped up the ppm with ionic grow nutes from 450 to about 580,if the plants are not suffering from not enough nutes and the yellowing tips are from something else please correct me..I havent been topping off the tank for a while so i should be cleaning and refilling my tank soon.
Here are some pics,i wish i had a real camera so i can show you guys how good this shit looks but maybe after harvest ill invest in a good cam.
Allright the first 3 pictures are of clone #1,the second 3 are of clone #2,the 2 after that are of clone #3 and the 2 after tha are of clone #4.All the rest are of the mother plants.

looking good, the yellowing tips may be from a lack of magnisum

I am doing marijauna nl northern lights. I germed 9 8 made it and only 3 were females. I germed 2 mazar and a bag seed too and they were all male too. SO good luck man, Mine I vegged for 6 weeks and are 19 days in flower and look awesome.

I dont know how close they are togather, the strains but wow did mine smell until yesterday I think. Still stink but the smell lessens I guess rofl, as I chop more and more males.

I use 4x4 rw cubes on 3x3 tray under 400 mh.hps. Good luck reps for the NL growing.
