Dwc sog

I will be doing a SOG with 4 DWC systems.

My question :

Flowering from a clone, how many can I fit in one of these for maximum yield?

Looks fucking perfect for a DWC SOG.
That thing is a beast. I don't know anything about SOG but I am doing a DWC grow. I'm using 2 10 gallon rubbermaid containers and have 12 3" netpods and fit comfortably. I will probably end up with 2-4 plants per container and put the plants in 6" pods.

My containers are 23.9x15.9x8.7in. The containers you are looking at are 42.5x21.5x18.6in. So if you were to use 3" netpods you could fit 18-20 plants easily per container. That is if you were to do three rows of plants where I have two rows. If you use 6" pods obviously the number of girls would be smaller.

Can you elaborate on any of the plans for your grow?

I plan on using 4 of these. Four 400 watts this bulb : http://www.eyehortilux.com/blue.html all on a light track moving
I plan on water cooling all of my lights or using this : http://www.hydroinnovations.com/product3.htm so they can be placed extremely close to plants. I plan on using this for my C02 : http://www.hydroinnovations.com/product2.htm

I am going to get a nice nice sized chiller and throw it in a garbage can of water. Plumbing from chiller will cool lights and C02 generator.

I am probably going to use Advanced Nutrients. I plan on one LB per 2 weeks minimum

i would use a container that has a more flat top. it'll be eaiser to drill your holes and your net cups will fit flat. Also with a 54 gallon container you're gonna waist a lot of nutrients.

How many plants are you growing per container? How long veg? I grew in an 18 gallon container and even with that I felt like a lot of nutrients were wasted.

4 400 watt lights? Why not just use a few 600 or 1000's? It will also help guarantee that you yield large.

I want a pound per 400 watt. I am going with a 400 for a certain bulb and for less heat. I plan on one week of veg after clone.
I don't want to waist nutrients, How big of a container should I grow with? I really want to do a DWC SOG.
That container has a very flat top, but I have to agree 54 gal is going overboard!
