Dyna Gro Bloom chunks at the bottom of bottle

This seems to be an 'issue' with the bloom bottle depending on how it has been stored. I say 'issue' because the precipitate has never caused any issues for me.

That being said, precipitate happens. Below is a bottle of AN's Connoisseur:

AN shit is famous for this, I have seen growers with Sensi Bloom like this with lots of globule floaters appearing a few months after purchase, but hey, 100% cash back guarinteed right? ROTFLMFAO - Cue Fat Mike.......................

I called AN about their '100% cash back guarantee'. They're not the ones refunding your money, it's the grow store. And it's up to the discretion of the hydro shop as to whether you're getting your money back. Additionally, the grow shop takes a hit on the items they accept back as AN will not fully refund the store on returned products.

I have gotten refunds no problem from an AUTHORIZED seller. It was explained to me that they are refunded on a quarterly basis as the sales reps make thier rounds. Unless you have done it, you are not an authority on the matter. I will say that some shops will give you an "in store" credit instead, which they tried to do with me, but I said no. Dyna's guarantee is "tuff shit" , read the label.

@budman111 - I believe nothing you say "AN shit is famous for this" ...right. Where are all the posts bitching about it yet I find numerous Dyna threads about this? HB is right, it happens.

I just want to know if HB used this bottle in his famous side-by-side but you again troll in with your bullshit.

It is an unequivocal fact that AN does not have a 100% money back guarantee. AN is not the one refunding your money as it's up to the discretion of the hydro store. I've called AN about this, I've called a dozen local hydro stores, I have a very good understanding of this subject.

Yes, that is one of the parts used in my comparison grow. DG sometimes has precipitate too which causes zero issues.

OK. It doesn't sound like you gave AN a fair shot then. just my opinion. You had no way of knowing how it degraded the mixture and would explain why you were confronted with so many issues. Why didn't you mention this earlier? I do commend your honesty though @homebrewer, others would have denied it. You are a stand up guy.

I have received refunds no problem and would expect thread after thread of people bitching about it. So I can only conclude that the vendors still sell it regardless because of the demand and profit margin. Perhaps they have not had to deal with refunds too much because most users are satisfied with AN. Maybe?

WHY did you have to seek out refunds if shit is so good?

I originally tried the "Hobby" kit with Sensi base, Big Bud, B-52 and overdrive. I had 1 plant with just Sensi base and it worked just as well so I returned the 3 supps. Used about 30%. That's why I tout Sensi Base only.

I conducted that test nearly 4 years ago and as soon as I finished said test, those two bottles sat on a shelf and collected dust. Was there some precipitate at the time of the test? I do not know. But I suspect 4 years of settling did not help. Honestly though, a few grams of precipitate isn't going to make a squat worth of difference when I suspect the real culprit for my subpar results was the cheap sources of nitrogen AN used in that formula (urea and other water soluble nitrogen).

There's nothing wrong with urea in dirt. It's put in there to accommodate all mediums. You may be right though, way back then it may have been a crappy mix but your experiment seemed very partial from the beginning. I can't find anybody who likes connoisseur anyways lol. I just wish you would do a test with Sensi bloom. You have the resources with the consistent clones and all.. I don't.

Hey not that I want to get into the discussion about AN vs Dyna Gro, but back to the subject of the thread, I read somewhere from the Dyna Gro website that chunks in the bottle are likely pottasium fallen out of solution. I searched for the link to attach here but cannot find it now, sorry. The recommened remedy was to shake it back into solution, and I know some people have heated it and that worked so... just saying. And I remember from high school chemistry that you can dissolve more in a warm solution than cold so maybe Sonar can try and warm the solution then shake, that might help....
