e40 with cables ? how do i do it ?

Hey all

I got myself a HPS Lamp and got a e40 thing with it... and a power suply cable with 3 wires hanging out

ok.... so now there's a : Blue,Yellow/Green,Brown hanging infront of me

I've got my e40 infront of me and dont see where to put the cables in ....

oh yeah and in the cables tips there like a foil on it... Realy shiny, looks like copper, should i take that away ?

Are there any Tutorials out there.... ?

Dude, I don't know exactly your configuration. To my knowledge E40 is used in mercury vapor fixtures NOT HPS. But i might be wrong about that. Anyways you should connect blue and brown to the power(the order does not matter), and yellow/green to the grounding. you will need a power connector with that. The shiny ends, if it's metal is for contact purposes and should not be removed. hope it helps, but a picture would be helpful.
