Early Stage Watering question

I have been looking through the forums but i have not found a direct answer to how much a freshly germinated and planted seed should be watered. This is my first attempt at growing and i have 2 hash plant seeds germinated and in the ground about how much water should i give them during this stage? I guess what i am really asking is Is there some magic amount of water that is best for newly sprouting plants. I know there are a lot of experienced growers on this forum is there a general rule of thumb for the amount of water each new seedling needs. Your advice is appreciated.

just so the soil is damp never sopping wet or roots will starve for oxygen, plus deficiencies.

you should only need to water a little bit every other day, unless your under a hot hps light

I start mine in paper towels then once the tap root is out I plant them, water very lightly and either place them under flouros or by a sunny window. I water very slightly around the seed point every two days until she breaks ground. You can also fully water your empty pot/soil the day before you plant the seed and that will last you a good 3-4 days before it needs water again.

Thats just how I do it and i'm sure there are other ways.

Yeah, everyone will have their own unique way of doing things. Me personally, after soaking them in water for 20 hours I stick them between two wet paper towel in total darkness for two days. After that I put them in a tiny pot (very tiny) and water them every day. Once they sprout and the first set of leaves appears I go to watering every day and a half...eventually back to every other day. I'm not a big fan at all of multiple transfers so once they have finished their seedling phase I put them in large pots. At that point I water every 5-7 days.
