Ok, so this is my first DIY so work with me ppl. I also checked the DIY and odor control thread, but did not see this anywhere. I tried to use RandyRockets version found here:

but I drink folgers and they only have plastic cans now, but either way, it's where I got the inspiration. I do not know if this will work on any other plastic coffee cans (Maxwell House is a NO for 6")
MATERIALS REQUIRED -6" Semi-Rigid ducting housing
knife
33.9oz or 38.4oz plastic folgers coffee can
OPTIONAL
drill with 1/2 to 3/4 inch drill bit (recommended)
duct tape
second coffee can lid (recommended for 250+cfm fans)
Directions
1. Using drill or knife, drill/cut holes in the lid of the coffee can. Make sure each hole is at least 1/2" in diameter, but none of the holes are touching. It is easier to drill the holes if you leave the lid on the can. Make sure you go SLOW when drilling the holes and do not drill/cut through the sides, the bottom does not matter.
2. Cut bottom of can off using knife. Cut as close to the bottom as possible.
3. Take lid and stick into bottom of coffee can top side first. Should only go in an inch or two.
4. take semi-rigid tube and stick into bottom of coffee can. It is very tight, but it does fit. once you get it on, you can use the duct tape to secure it (i did not).
5. Follow Panhead's DIY to build the filter. i actually put a stitch in the middle so my filters are half this size and fit flat on the bottom.

6. put second lid on top, hook up to your exhaust and ur done.

5" clamp OR duct tape

3. Take can and stick into 4" ducting. It will be tad loose so be sure and secure with clamp or duct tape.
