eating concentrates

Old school stoner gonna be in Colorado for a few days.

Interested in all these concentrates i've never seen before, don't want to spend money on paraphenalia I'll have to throw away before I get on the plain.

Can you eat concentrates and get off? Has the THCa been decarbed?

I have read that it does have to be decarbed, but I'm not 100% certain because I thought it was heated to make the wax.

Yes it has to be decarbed.THCa is non-psychoactive.
