ebb&flow turned modular DWC

Hello all, I am a new member here and before anything i want to tell you about my set-up. I am currently running a 14 plant modular system with 2 gallon buckets under a single 1000w light. The reason for such an odd set-up is that my system was originally (as the title suggests) a Greentrees ebb & flow system but the reservoir with the timers and float switches has no power and I simply do not have the money for a new one so i adapted it to a modular system by running air stones to each bucket. I am running
3 Strawberry Diesels
4 Girl Scout Cookies
3 Cheese
3 Critical Kush
and 1 Death Star.
Besides Cheese I have never grown any of these strains and this is the first time using my adapted modular stsyem. I feel like I may have gotten in over my head with all the factors that make my set up less than ideal (at least in my head) 5 Strains 4 of which I have never grown under the same 1000w light (and just a Yield Master II supreme reflector) in a modular dwc sytem that i have never used up to this point which, if i forgot to mention, can only hold 8 gallons of nute water at a time, which is what worries me more than anything as i have had plants in 5 gallon bubble buckets that would use a gallon+ per day in 12/12 below is a picture of the day i transplanted them from solo cups (yes 14 dirt to hydro transplants in one day no casualties)

Too complicated. Just get some 5 gallon buckets, drill a drainage hole in bottom... fill with 50/50 perlite / vermiculite and hand water as needed.

I was never good at hand watering i suck at it to be honest my best bet is to run it as is because they've been in there for a month so theres no pulling them out now lol

what height would you recommend for a 1000w mh? Its a Hortilux Blue MH but in flower i will be running a Hortilux Super HPS. Currently i have the distance from the bulb to the far edge of the canopy at 32"

32 is not bad, sorry in the pic it looked like 4 feet.

18 inches or more is ok, as long as all plants are under the reflector footprint it is good. Put a thermometer at top of plants to make sure temperature is less than 80 degrees...

The average among the plants is 20 inches and i only have a 7' ceiling. I was told that Girl Scout Cookie has a mother of a stretch as well as the Strawberry Diesels and Cheese i know to be a moderate stretcher
