Eclipse!

So a tiny spot on radar decided to move over right at the eclipse point.

We had lightning and a 10 minute storm instead. Then it blew over and we had a shitty partial rainbow to go with the shitty 81% eclipse. And a lot of shitty humidity.

I went in and watched it on TV on a cruise ship under 100%. Now that looked cool and dark for 3 minutes.

It was clear here but still looked meh. Just looked like a normal overcast shit day.

The cruise ship at 100% totality does sound pretty fuckin cool. When I was at Mount St Helens this past weekend at the Big Foot Gift shop where they give helicopter tours of the crater, the cashier told me someone booked the helicopter for the eclipse time. $450 for 45 minutes.
