Electric/Motorized Soil Mixer?

Are there any "affordable" electric/motorized soil mixers out there?

I've always used my (manual) compost tumbler, but the past few times I mixed soil, my back got really sore.

I'd rather not rent one, since I mix soil a lot. I'd rather buy my own. But my guess is they're too expensive. I did a Google search and the ones I saw were $3500+, for one-half-cubic-yard machines.

Does anybody have one or know of some more affordable units?

Are you trying to tell me you dont have cement mixers in the US?
Or are you trolling?
I'm not trying to tell you a damn thing.

I thought you were recommending a specific model. You weren't. So it looks like you were the one who was trolling.

The cement mixers I've looked at are way too expensive.

I've seen them at harbor freight, home depot. some didn't look very substantial though. If you only use once or twice a year, rental? also maybe search thru rockanddirt.com website for sales and auctions

OP. Stop being such a fuck up and handle it bro.

The world needs men. Too many little bitches with a dick running around trying to figure out ways to get out of work.

FUCKING MIX THAT SHIT LIKE A MAN!

It is not my intention to offend.
I've manually mixed many, many batches of my own soil for many years. I'm older now, and having the beginnings of back issues. Should I put myself in traction at the chiropractors' office every time I mix soil, or should I listen to my body and take care of my back?

I think I'll listen to my body and take care of my back. I guess that makes me, as you said, "a little bitch running around trying to figure out ways to get out of work". But I'll be fishing into my eighties without back problems.

I've posted questions here in the Organic section before, and got really helpful advice. But today, I get insults. I hope today is not indicative of the way the people really are here.

ok you motherfucking redneck, good luck. rental or harbor frieght were the correct answers.
So you CAN offer helpful advice. Great.

Man, I was just joking around with you a bit here. You posted a joke video, and I made a joke about your user name. And you got all bent out of shape.

I ain't looking to make enemies, OK? Lighten up a bit.

We're both mother fuckers, so can't we just get along?

I took a 55 gallon drum bolted 3 2x2 down the length on the inside. Each 2x2 had a nail drove every inch or so with a couple inches sticking out. It makes something like a rake. Drilled a hole in the top and bottoms and slid a pipe all the way through. I locked the pipe in place with locking collars. I built a door in the side with a good latch.

Fill with soil and amendments. I take a chain and hook the center of it to the hitch on the 4 wheeler. The ends of the chain will hook, one on each side, where the pipe sticks out the barrel. I drive at slow speeds and it turns the barrel.

I too was joking but sometimes with text it's kinda hard to tell.
I think a lot of shit gets started on here that would go differently if it weren't just some faceless text.
