Enzymes for Aeroponics

Hello everybody, I wanted to know whether it would make sense to use enzymes in a aeroponic system?

I used AN VoodoJuice and Piranha for the first two weeks of veg and flower. The plants are now in the third(D15) week of flowering , the roots do not look bad, no root rot or something.

i asked the same question of Harley Smith of NPK Industries in one of his seminars and he said that no, enzymes do absolutely nothing for hydroponics. this is because enzymes are to prep or chelate nutrients so the roots can absorb the nutes. in hydro, the nutes are dissolved and readily available. and this is from a hydro expert working for a nute company that sells an enzyme formula.

I agree, don't do it. Just use the simplest nutrients you can, like AN or GH three part. You don't want anything that can clog your spray nozzles. I have had problems with enzymes causing slime. I recommend compost tea for hydro (beneficial microbes), they keep roots nice and white.

Thank you , I've already thought that the enzymes do not help.

What I wanted to ask is whether or not to remove the large leaves to allow more light to reach the lower part of the plant and whether it increases the yield? What flowering week you should do?

Since there are different opinions , some say after 5 week of flowering others think you should not remove the leaves.

In my experience it is more important to strip the lower branches and foliage early. I would do it immediately. I snip them as soon as buds start to form (week 3 or so). This will help airflow and let the plants put their energy towards making big top buds. Other than that there are SOG growers who do a tiered harvest. Leave the plants as they are and harvest only the tops at week 7 or 8. Then lower the lights and let the bottoms go another week or two.
