epsom salt ratio

Hey guys I recently found that my plants have a magnesium deficiency, and I wanted to foliar feed my plants with some epsom salt and water. I don't know the ratio though

The plants can be foliar feed at ½ teaspoon/quart of Epsom salts (first powdered and dissolved in some hot water). When mixing up soil, use 2 teaspoon dolomite lime per gallon of soil.
If the starting water is above 200 ppm, that is pretty hard water, that will lock out mg with all of the calcium in the water. Either add a 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of epsom salts or lime (both will effectively reduce the lockout or invest into a reverse osmosis water filter.

I prefair to mix with water and feed through the soil over folliar spraying

After giving them the mg wait about a week or two before using again two much will make it worse .

What i found that works even better was to flush out with a good organic Fert with good levels of MG. and some ph,d water also . My routine would be 1 water 1 fert and end with another water flush .. This way seemed to recover fastest

Howdy Kieahtoka; kcheetah here...I did a small time experiment using Epsom salts (1 full Tsp per gallon),ph'd to 5.5 - sprayed bottom of leaves lightly(mist, not drippin).....plants popped back into
green leaf,but I got a quicker result,mixing 1 Tbl. in a 3 gallon jug of Feeding water,Ph'd to 5.5.Be patient, I water(using Epsom salts) once a month now,with SWEET Results.Happy Thanksgiving! Try a bit
of pure live Mycorrhizal inoculant,"The Bomb!"

1 TBSP / GAL is what I have been reading........
I am getting some of the rust colored spotting on the older leaves on one plant, so I did 1 tsp/ 1/2 gal of water today and sprayed..... How often should I do that?

Be careful foliar-feeding ionics. There is a serious risk of burning the leaves. I would add the magnesium solution (I recommend one gram per liter as the dosage) to the roots. cn
