Ever clear gummy bears

I was going to soak my trim in ever clear in the freezer overnight? Not ground up. Shaking every hour or so. Then throw it into my magic butter machine the next day on the tincture setting. Then hot water bath that down to a syrup. And mix directly into store bought gummy bears and hard candy

SHOULD I DECARB THE TRIM FIRST?!
Please suggest anything you would add or change.
I don't have candy molds what else can I use

Always decarb first

Any why would you soak in etoh overnight? Like tasting a shit ton of chlorophyll or having a super green end result. 3 -4 mins TOPS.

If im .understanding this right, you want to use the extract, add that to your gummy bears in a bowl, heat up, mix, then pour into molds? If your adding fluid to a semi solid, it's never going to be a semi solid consistency after you add more liquid.its gonna be a runny goooooey sloppy mess.

I'm eating this not dabbing it. I actually prefer my edibles to taste planty. I know a lot of people don't. This is also going into a magic butter machine which heat and grinds so holding up the chlorophyll in the freezer will do me no good. I just want to get all the thc I can out.
As for consistency I was gunna go till it's a thick goo. Should I bring it down to a shatter? It's going to have alcohol taste if I leave it a slight goo

I never said anything about dabbing. My entire post was about eating it. If you add any type of liquid to a semi solid, that now semi solid Will turn into a runny mess. Think of it like this, take a spoon full of peanut butter, it's a semi solid, not quite liquid, but not quite a solid state. Add some liquid to said peanut butter and what do you end up with, runny peanut buttet. Same is going to happen when you introduce a liquid to your gummy bears. You will never get the gummy bears back to any consistency other than a runny mess. Now if you freeze said runny gummy bear mess, and keep in freezer, it should hold its form. But once thawing, it will return to a runny mess.

I brought up dabs because that's the only reason I would care if. The color was off and had chlorophyll. If I water bath this I would get like Rso or ISO hash whatever they call it. No good for smoking in my opinion but want to try it with edibles. I'm not keeping this a liquid. It will get thicker when I water bath as I'm sure you are aware of. I could even go long enough until it became like shatter. Do you think I should evaporate all the alcohol so I'm left with an activated concentrate. I do get what your saying about adding liquid. I always add coconut oil to chocolate and that makes it super soft. I was hoping I could also add this concentrate to my chocolates in the future.

Ok back to the beginning.

You want to do and ethanol extraction, then fully evap the ethanol. That extract would be in a pretty much solid, if not a pull n snap consistancy. Now how do you plan on incorporating the pull n snap into the gummy bears? If you put the Gummi Gummies into a double broiler and melted said gummies, I don't think the pull n snap extract will incorporate into the gummies. Thc is not water soluble, nor does it mix well with sugar. Oil, butter and fats mix very well with thc.

When I make my edibles (I make between 3 and 6 dozen a month for the past 5 yrs, if not more), I decarb my extract (either ethanol, iso, bho, hash) in a 293*oven for 9 mins in a covered metal bowl. Then remove from oven and add my.butter or oil, depending on what my recipe calls for. Then that cooks at 130-140* for 25 mins to fully incorporate the mix in the double beoiler. Then I let cool, and add to my recipe and cook as directed.

Maybe I can slowly add gummy bears too the (MBO magic butter oil, which I am pretty much making just added the freezer part) before I take it off the water bath. I'll keep it on heat until it's done. As long as it's warm it should be somewhat liquid. I think with enough stirring I can melt the two together on a non stick ceramic pan. Super low heat

Certo, possibly. Only add in small increments. My best advise is to make it like I mentioned above, then freeze to get it to a solid consistency. And keep frozen.
