You might want to check out an actual NEWS source once in a while. Health Reform isn't going well? According to whom, exactly? Faux News? Oh, you mean the Faux News anti-reform campaign isn't going well? Shocker.

Seems some of the "blue dogs" and the Democrats who were on the fence about passing a bill have decided they like the plan after all! They like it when it's presented as "Medicare Part E" (E for EVERYBODY), because that's a concept they can sell to their constituency. Of course, this is what the House Democrats have been proposing all along, but someone decided "public option" would be less confusing than "Medicare Part E" (hopefully that someone is spending this morning in the corner with the DUNCE cap on).

Today we'll get to find out if Congress is going to repeal the insurance industry's anti-trust exemption.

I'd say the reform effort is moving along quite nicely, especially since those pesky Teabaggers have been relegated back to the ranks of "the fringe minority" where they belong.

Way to be in the dependent majority. Continue to ask "what more can my gov't offer me". More more more, until we burst. Not something to be proud of if you ask me. Let's focus our energy on how we can break free from all these social programs that the majority depends on. Let's get motivated and take care of ourselves. Put you hand back in your pocket.

Here is how it all plays out. The insurance companies want an extra 15 million to 25 million patients. They WANT insurance to be mandatory just like it is with car insurance. They do not want a public option.

Insurance companies will win huge in this. There will be no public option AND they will get mandatory insurance for all. Obama will claim a major victory. Insurance companies will kick in money to his campaign coffers.
