Expanding on the High: description

I'm really interested in detailed descriptions of the high that folks get. So I propose that the High: descriptor be expanded to make it much more detailed. To that end, I will list a bunch of things that would describe a buzz. I would like anyone that would like to participate to list EVERYTHING you've internally experienced while stoned on any one strain of weed. I know many folks just want to melt into the sofa and that's OK, but just once write down what you're experiencing so we can all know what to expect.

I'm sure I will leave many things out of this list. So please feel free to add anything you can remember experiencing, or are experiencing. In the end I will try to gather it all up into a form of sorts that could be "filled in" so to speak as a buzz progresses. If this works, then phenotyping could be even more exacting and of course, folks like me could choose a strain more accurately. Yeah, I'm selfish. Now, it might all fall apart if everyone experiences different things from the same strain, and then again it might show that some types produce varied experiences and others have rock solid effects. Personally, I feel there will be plenty of consensus, and hopefully we can all benefit. And this certainly can go nowhere if no one participates. I can only try, and so can you. Here goes:

In no particular order, only as things come to me.

grins
easy feeling
happiness
confusion
paranoia
anxiousness
Time dilation
2d, or other visual effects
cotton mouth
hunger, or suppression of hunger (wouldn't that be great!)
red eyes
laziness
grins
pain relief - what kinds, for how long, how fast it
any other forms of relief
motivation
heat/cold tolerance
causes nausea
relieves nausea
introversion
problem solving
circular thinking
hallucinations
peaks and valleys
heightening or depression of any of the five senses
Seeming connections to things - spooky stuff
sweats
heart rate changes or palpitations
blood pressure effects
sexual effects
itchyness or relief therefrom
balance issues
Where, when, how it hits you

I think you get the idea. Not to bitch... much, but when someone describes a high as Awesome! I don't get much from it.

Have fun with it, share the experience with some friends. Pack the next bowl over a blank sheet of paper with a pencil and a watch handy and let's see where this can go. It's like the Lottery, we can't win if we don't play.

cant believe no body has replied to this im interested myself, so i'll have a crack

have copied your response and will add more to the answers and try and add a few new ones myself. if i dont add anything to an awswer i have simply experienced it have have nothing further to add, ive i havent got that feeling i will state.

if anything i think weed can be contradictory, much is depenent on where your minds at.

here goes

grins
easy feeling
happiness
confusion - yes but sometimes this feels like a good part of the high
paranoia
anxiousness
Time dilation
2d, or other visual effects - no real 2d effects, i once full on saw my own face say a meter away from me like i was lookin into a mirror, this was combined with some paranoia
cotton mouth - whats this? dry mouth, that water doesnt really fix? if so yes
hunger, or suppression of hunger (wouldn't that be great!) - yep both, usually increased hunger but i have experienced both, really the suppresionhas been not wanting to eat rather than lack of hunger, no possibly related to illness at the time
laziness - yes, especially after a hard days labour, a few cones and of course i dont wanna wash up. but against that in the right situation say fishing camping, something you wana do, i may do more, just at a steady pace.
grins
pain relief - what kinds, for how long, how fast it - used to help with my back pain, cant say that it does anymore.
any other forms of relief
motivation - similar to motivation, great for creating ideas, not so great for doing them.
heat/cold tolerance - um... hard one, have experienced hot-cold, i certainly seem to notice the cold wether and can shiver for a while when stoned, but it is very cold here in winter, think its just takes a while to for your body to heat up/feel warm.
causes nausea - yes but pretty much related to cold/flu/head ache/ear ache etc.
relieves nausea
introversion - well by the definition stoned of not i need to bymyself at times just to 'recharge'
problem solving - absolutley! wether say with personal problems or creative thinking. have worked out ways to solve my own problems, as well as to look into positive solutions while stoned. i also like to think of ideas to solve humanitys problems while stoned, power, polution, food, population, space travel etc. (yes i havent been greatly succesful as yet:lol:) but its great to think about these things, in the end someone will have to solve them.
circular thinking - i would basicly have to disagree
hallucinations - not really, once it has occoured, i smoked half a joint with a mate, i knew from experience thats its cones that really get me stoned, but with out warning this really hit hard, n i was think this is really heavy shit! about the same time thier was a loud yelling argument between the mate that i was chilling out at his place n his gf, i just never i had to get away a bit. i sat down to lean against a tree, it was dark but the ground became fluro green like lights, not solid but very bright in a random pattern, it was only say a 1m circle around me on the ground that faded away as it got further. last for 30 sec to a minute, seemed longer of course. although it tripped me out i kinda enjoyed it when i realised that is was just hallucination. i guess a few silalar things have happened, but more like feeling things that wernt there. i havent experiened this since pretty much i first started smoking. even after having long breaks from it. guess it just doesnt effect me that way anymore.
peaks and valleys - only based only my general mood regardless of being stoned.
heightening or depression of any of the five senses - both, if im thinking about it as well, well its heightend, if my thoughts are elsewere they seem depressed. the road always seems narrower driving when im stonned lol.
Seeming connections to things - spooky stuff - need a better explaination of what you mean...
sweats
heart rate changes or palpitations - if it goes up its only short lived, i think it can generally lower a high heart rate. which kinda gives the body a 'relief' feeling
blood pressure effects - same answer as above
sexual effects - well i had a gf say to me once (it kinda effected me) "i come over and your always drunk or stoned and all you want is sex". cant say it makes me go out n pick up chicks, but as far as im concerned there is no better feeling than that after sex with some you love whilst being stoned, well thats 'absolute relation' for me.
itchyness or relief therefrom
balance issues
Where, when, how it hits you - when? usually quickly, i wouldnt really say it sneaks up on me.

to add
inventiveness - inventive thinking, it gives me great ideas, but can often forget them after a good sleep, + its more of 'this could definetly be possible, mayb this hasnt been tested or thought of before' but i dont have a diploma in physics of enginering thats usually where i get stopped.
thinking out out the box questioning all - questions like 'is it more likely that the universe is infinete or finate?' do electrons really have 'free power' or do they cease to move at absolute zero? why cant they combine the laws of 'big' (gravity/space/ time etc.) with the laws of small (electrons/neutrons etc). physics tells us they should be able to be explained using the same rules/equations. the role of 'chance' in life as well as nature, history tells us that no species exists indefinetly. is there really a 'meaning of life' or do we just create this ourselves.

i also like to read while im stoned, its more of a ' have to know' kinda thing. did you know humans contain 2 genones?? hey not many people know that it comes back to our bacteria days when our ancester bacteria ate another bacteria, our mitocondria in our cells actually contain another genone, our cells nucleus just tells it what to do and supplies it with its needs. did you know about the roles genetic viruses have played in our evoltion? are virus's really life? for starters they cannot create copies of themselves, they can exist as 'crystals' for longer than humans live. what about our brains? used to full capacity i dont think so, just look into dislexic people, or paople with damaged brains, the parts that work often function as 'super' brains in particular sections.

shit i feel like i have talked a lot about nothing. well that happens get over it:lol:. some poor bastard will get me lol.

just like to add i have no idea what strains ive smoked there was only 'good shit' 'not worth it shit' and inbetween

oh to add to it
basicly everythings more interesting
i just love music when stoned - any easy way to make time disapear, but yes i love music when im stoned
i like people more when im stoned wether with them or just thinking about them, its hard to hate or be angry at people when im stoned, and easy to forgive

mmm and a heavy stone its kinda - think, think, think, oh shit what was i thinking about, what what what, new idea, think, think, think, oh shit what was i thinking about that was such a good idea/thought why cant i remember:lol:
