farting in grow room

a buddy of mine has a few plants in a small grow room..but he has gas problems and farts like every 5 mins..he likes to sit in his grow room for a couple hours per night but he is not sure if he is hurting his plants by farting so much..so he just wants to know if his plants will do ok, or if they will smell like shit?
