Fast Buds, Mephisto, Dutch Passion Grow

Hey everybody!

I posted a while back, been some time since I've been able to get back on here but with newly enacted state laws(MA) it's nice to not have to be so worried about the operation anymore!

Currently growing, I have 6 girls in the tent-
Mephisto's White Train and White Chem
Fast Bud's LSD-25 and Mexican Airlines
Dutch Passion Auto Ultimate x 2

I recently switched over from Foxfarm soil to a Coco perlite mixture I whipped together. So far I am so happy I took the extra time for the Coco. The plants seem to love it so much more than the soil.

I'll try to keep up and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, PRS

Dutch Passion Auto Ultimate Day 30
Did not think this girl was going to make it from the start but changed a few things around and she seems to have recovered a bit. But I had started to germinate a second seed already so hopefully they both work out!20170411_132702.jpg

Thank man!
I've been very pleased with just about all of the Mephisto I've grown so far. Had some trouble with their customer service once but that's a whole different story.
Good luck with the scrog, I've been looking into it a bit. I dabbled with some light LST a few rounds back and had some success, some big failures so I'm very much still learning haha.
Best of luck!

Auto Ultimate Day 38
Still just kind of plugging along. Growth has begun to pick up but I have no had luck with the Dutch Passion genetics. The other Ultimate I had died overnight. Just yellowed and withered up. Haven't had that issue with any others yet. Here's hoping!20170417_140643.jpg 20170417_140636.jpg

White chem Day 20
Just a baby still, but I seem to be having the same problem I had the last time I attempted this strand. It's just not growing like it should. Probably user error, I'm still learning!20170417_140655.jpg

And just a shot of the current setup.20170417_140711.jpg

Hey, thanks for posting your experiences with auto strains. I'm doing my first autoflower grow (normally grow photoperiod strains), and am growing in roots organic soil under 400 watt mh light. the two biggest are at about 2 weeks old from the day they popped soil. Just wondering what you thought about the progress of them. They seem to be healthy, but I was expecting quicker growth. The strain is candy kush auto from crop king seeds

Hey thanks! I think all of your girls look great for their age! So far I've only grown autos and I've noticed the biggest burst in growth at around a month from sprout. The LSD up there has grown almost a foot in the last 10 days!

Best of luck my friend, looks great so far!

Awesome man, thanks. It's reassuring hearing that from someone who specificically grows autos. I may get the autoflower itch by the time these are done. It was actually just an attempt to make up for a bad harvest and several other reasons. I'm finding out that it is a specific hobby of its own. Very different from growing photoperiod strains. I wouldn't necessarily say more or less difficult, but definitely different. That's some crazy growth! I'm going to be switch all my future grows to coco soon. I've heard amazing this about coco....so I started with the r/o system. Do you use r/o water to water your coco or tap water

The number one thing to remember with the autos is that any significant stress will really stunt it. Sadly I've had to learn that the hard way a few times. I've had some luck with some LST but they don't all like it lol.
Plus growing from seed each time instead of clones/always growing the same strain has its ups and downs. Every plant reacts so differently and you have such a short window to kind of dial in what works best for it. At least that's how I like to grow my autos, everything is for personal use and sharing with friends so I'm always putting down different beans to keep the rotation fresh with new strains.

I use tap water. I fill a 5 gallon bucket and let it sit for at least a day right out of the tap. I have pretty good water in my town, about 6.9 PH level right out.

I really want to try some photos this season outdoors. Got a few freebies and don't really have the room in the tent. Should be an adventure!:eyesmoke:
