Federal NDP pushes Trudeau to decriminalize weed following pot remarks

dunno how i'd feel with them leading everything.. but retrospect sure makes the NDPs marijuana plan seem much more logical now eh?
decriminalize day one, with eventual legalization.. not illegal one day, and legal the next like the libs will (hopefully) get to, some day.

i wonder if we'd of been legal with them sooner than we will with the liberals.

Wonder how I'll get that month in jail back that I did for possession 30 years ago , I want to be compensated !

Not a chance. They would never have got past decriminalization...just another tax on cannabis users. Once police get used to targeting pot smokers as a revenue generator, they aren't going to give that up. I don't know about you, but becoming an ATM for the police isn't really my thing. I'm not saying the bullshit the Liberals came up with is my idea of legalization either, but I don't think Mulcair would have done better.

The NDP / Muclair flipped his wig when the liberals announced their intentions.

I lost all respect for them at that time. All of it

We had the televised leader's debate for the BC election last night. Andrew Weaver from the Greens was the most sensible person in the room. There is a really good chance we'll end up with a minority with the Greens in opposition. They can't be worse than the BC Libs or NDP.....

i saw it the same.. but our province proves time and time again that no matter how hard the libs shaft us; they're golden (likely why they keep shafting us)
i mean if we couldn't get them out after Gordo Campbell.. we aint getting Christy's sly speaking out.

seriously; they must think BC full of complete idiots for the amount of crap we let them they get away with. they do a few positive things near election and the fools bend over for them again.
*i wont vote NDP though; they screwed us last time by ousting a good leader who headed opposition for years, for some idiot who was easy to pick apart. basically handing the libs re-election.
