I tried it once in a bubble cloner and saw no difference in promoting root growth...what are your ideas of application???

Aloe gel is a natural antiseptic; I don't see how it could actually do much to feed your plants. I use it when I'm transplanting rooted clones from my cloner to soil. Dipping the roots in aloe gel first and then into granular mycorrhizae helps it stick to the roots. Clones done this way always become super green and heathy.
Aloe is like the best houseplant you can keep. The gel treats minor burns and insect bites for humans plus the aforementioned natural root treatment for your plants spurs on a symbiotic relationship with mycorrhizae fungi in the rhizosphere which helps with nutrient absorption. If you compost the aloe flesh in a worm bin or compost pile it does have NPK value but only after it decomposes. Everybody should have one on their windowsill.

Thanks a million.

2 questions.

Is it ok to use fresh aloe gel mixed with water?

I had one seed sink as soon as it hit the water, would this be a viable seed?

Is it ok to use fresh aloe gel mixed with water? = yes thats what I do

I had one seed sink as soon as it hit the water, would this be a viable seed? = No,

but give it a try, the deal being that good seeds are dry and need water to trigger the germ,

once the water soaks in the weight of the water makes it sink, making a signal that water has soaked in ..lol reading for the ;rest'
good luck

buildasoil.com sells a dry aloe powder... it helps maintain the xylem and pholem, also boosting immunity to help fight disease and pests.
