As the title states , growing in dwc useing cana hydro a/b.

Now i've had the plant's for a while now and it just seams I rarely seam to go over 1/4 of recommnded feeding that it states on the bottle.

Looking at the plant's theres is no major deficency's if anything all there is is a little burn n the tips from when I tryed to up the feed a tiny little bit, i'm talking an extra 1ml into 7 litres of water.

Reading around I saw alot of people claiming due to the way dwc keeps the roots suspended in the water , it usually always requires a much smaller feed. Then i find other post's where people say they are giveing what I would call small plant's "full strength" and the plant's look good.

Where as mine are mini tree's and on a low feed of 1 ml per litre.

Just wondering what other people might have came accross in there travels.

Different strains react differently to nutes, good to bear that in mind. I don't know what amount of water i have in the bucket, think it's around 20L, but i just chuck in 50ml or so of each A and B ph it then leave it for a week and repeat from fresh.

Thnx for getting back to me , ofc I just try and keep on top of the ph and a let the plants tell me what they need .

Seams to we working out so far so good , only thing that annoys me is when ever I look at the ladies under the hps they look so pale , almost yellow at times , that combined with my low feeding , almost caused a nasty accident of "they need more nitrogen" , only when I removed the plants from the hps they looks a hell of alot better and green.

Tho I should say I do believe it's partly to do with the dwc system, as my hempy's are barley a branch compared to my dwc tree's and the hempy's are almost on double the feed the dwc are.

Yellowing (paling) often means that they're not being fed enough. I'm sat here thinking that something must be wrong for them never to acept more than 1/4 feed, be it temp related or whatnot, just seems wrong though.

Thats the thing under the hps they can look paleish, however if i take them out the room into a normal light there green , at worst a tiny little bit pale , but thats only the top part of the plant/new growth , anything lower on the plant is a lovley darker green .

Since i'm useing vert lighting I put any paleish down to slight bleaching or new growth. As I don't see it neut's being low as the last time I uped it even a little , they got a little burned , just small white/yellow tips forming at the tip's of the leaves.

Think i'm really just going to have to wait till i have a mother and can work with stable cutting's , then I can try running different feed levels see what they can take , atm tho it's a 20 pack of seeds so I have quite a few different looking pheno's, which makes trying to sort feed out a bit more of a pain. Just seams weird considering the size of my plant's , I can't go anywhere near the recommended feeding levels . Plants are approx 2 feet cubed
