Feminized seeds have a 60% chance of going hermie

Every Marijuana plant has the gentic coding within to go hermie, every single one, it's a survival mechanism. Some strains need less of a trigger than others this is true. But feminized is not special in this regard. If a feminized seed were to go hermie, it is not because it is feminized, it is because the strain is just a sensitive one and some environmental trigger activated the gentic coding to survive.

This ^.....feminized seeds are usually made by spraying a female plant with colloidal silver. this forces it to grow male flowers, but these male flowers produce pollen with female genetics, being from a female plant. they then use this pollen to fertilize another female plant. the resulting seeds have no male genetics...supposedly. it does happen once in a while that one turns completely male. as far as the chances of becoming a herm, its just what was said above, as long as you treat em right, theres no more chance with fem seeds than any other

First off, there are numerous ways to make feminized seeds, some methods more reliable than others. Secondly, I would say that out of the approx. 2,000 (or more) feminized plants I've grown, 97%-98% have not hermied. There are bad company's at making fem's, i.e. Dutch Passion and good ones i.e. Dinafem, research is the key. But I think any plant can go hermie if you stress it enough....

I've had 3blimburn gdps hermie on me.3rd 1 just now at harvest.little nanas sticking out bottom of buds (Calex) on a few branches. Bout 3other strains also have hermied on me from same Order from herbies.the freebies are the 1s actually going strong and the 1s I brought hermied. Luck of the draw I wrekon.i should of just went regular seeds fml.

I don't think the pollen spread to my other girls cause they had no nanas.
Now I have question.....
Once the hermie plant is dried.can pollen still spread from the buds?

pretty sure dutch passion started fem seeds back in the late 90's?! you would think they keep there customers happy with a reputation to uphold.

Pollen, left out in the open, is only viable for 2-3 days I believe.......so whatever damage to your plants is done and it won't get any worse.

Dutch Passion has always been known for its hermies, from way back. I guess they still have some good strains, but when I grew them, most everything was ending up seeded. Never again, and it's been over 20 years now.

Thats funny. Dutch Passion was the first well known company to introduce feminized seed to the market. After some time...they messed up somewhere.

I was growing their Blueberry and a few other things (some not even available anymore) and hermies were a regular occurrence. On the other hand, back then, I never saw a hermie from Nevil's "The Seed Bank" (Sensi Seeds now).......just because they introduced them, that doesn't mean they did it well.
