Fertilizing Wisely

I have seen Mandalas guide, and tried to use canna terra line accordingly, but my girls showed N deficiency and possibly others, and did not get too strong in general (i kept it 800-1000 EC all along).
Now i thought i'll give the company's schedule a try so i have been using their recommended dosage of ~1400-1600 EC for 3 weeks now. I only see very slight tip burn on some of the plants. They look much more dense then the previous group with 50% schedule.
Is it possible, that i am overfertilizing them, but instead tip burn they show some other signs that i do not notice?
Or in the article they only talk about Mandala strains and maybe those require much less nutrients?

If anyone has any experience regarding canna in this regard i'd be happy to hear (or knows a better fertilizer out of experience for soil).

I am using RO water, Compo sana seedling soil, hps 400w / m2

cheers

I am growing some super lemon haze, Its 2 weeks in to flower and its starting to become Phosphorus and potassium Deficient.

I fertilize once a week, should I up the mix strength of my fertilizer or should I up the frequency of fertilization?

Any advice would be nice I don’t want to lose my monster

Bumping it for views...

EC is the elctro-conductivity of water. It may seem counter intuitive but water, pure water does not conduct electricity. So the researchers of all thing horticultural have determined that if you start with pure filtered water, that has an EC of 0 you will raise the conductivity of the water by adding the nutrients. So you can most effectively determine the amount of fetilizer necessary by measuring the EC. PPM is a crude method at best. So if you want to run an EC of 1.8 (my personal target) and my beginning point is an EC of 3 I would slowly add fertilizer until I reached 1.5 or so and then buffer the Ph which also raises the EC, so you have to take it into consideration.

Hey i was wondering when using fox farm nutes... Are you ferting as if you were watering? i know you have to mix x amount of tsp with x amount of water but when using that mix are you feeding as if you were watering or giving less?
